Score v2 in this tournament makes absolutely no sense with how difficult the map pool is for the rank range
I think it probably will be score v1, since some players have "bad" computers, so they need to play on fallback

Hi, two questions!
1 - For the teams that will be created from individual signups, will we get 6 players on each team?
2 - What happens if I get randomly placed on a team with people who don't show up and thus our team can't participate?

Topic Starter
Players in the Solo Players group will put into teams between 4-6 players. As of now we currently have over the amount of registrations required to make 16 teams of 6 members and are looking to increase the team count of 32. If we do not reach enough players to do so, we will make teams of 7-8.
The answer for the second question is that during the early stages of round of 32/16 the members who fail to show up will be automatically disqualified if the team is unable to play. Players who showed up will be moved to other teams and the opposing team will win by default. Starting at Quarter finals onwards, players who fail to show up and the team is unable to play will result on a full disqualification of every team member on the team also leading to the opposing team a win by default.
Exceptions can be made but rarely regards to this by the staff.

Cool, just the answer I was looking for! Cause every other tournament I've been a part of has had some issues with players not showing up, so since this is a team thing it would suck if players were penalized for others on their team not showing up.megapower135 wrote:

I'm pretty positive that they can't, lol. If any of them can, then they must be really under ranked. Most of the maps would even push 40k players to their limits.Neko-sama wrote:

To the people complaining about the map pool. That is not the official pool(s) that will be used. The official pools have yet to be linked as we wish for players to have the same amount of time to practice.

After reading some messages and replies to this post about the map pools, PLEASE NOTE that these are not the official pools that will be played. I will hint all of you that the map pools during the group stages (if there is one) all the way to semi finals or finals will be 4 stars to 5 stars in difficulty.
