You will have to move the next beats. it used to be a proper triangle! xD some previous mod said i should change it to a non-triangle to have it distance snapped right. you know what. i'm just gonna make that damn triangle since it's inconsistent otherwise and then there will just be a jump to the 4. it can be reasoned within the song and it's a decent solution i guess. ahrg. i hope THIS is finally right as well <.<

You need to make the slider START on the white tick, and end on red. wait. wait. that's what i did in pretty much the whole map. i totally tried around with it and it sounds good as it is now and it plays decent. if i change it up it gets worse in my opinion. but it sounds like this is a really huge issue for you oO uhm. i'll look whether i can find anyone to consult about that in #modhelp. let's see how this goes.

alright. some more updates + asked in #modhelp for advice on said issues.
people told me:

a.) it is right that the slider usually starts on a white tick and ends on a red tick. but not in all circumstances. it depends on the song. in my opinion it sounds right as it is, but if you tell me otherwise i'll listen. if this is mentioned more often or by a bn i'll change it.
b.) the breaks are fine. i know myself (just as they said) that the parts could be mapped. but i simply think some rest in a >2:30 min song should exist. 2 breaks are Deeefinitely reasonable for me. this has been mentioned often. yet i don't understand this point to be honest :x if this will be a reason that keeps the map from getting ranked i will map that part, but i honestly think that is fine as it is. and the parts are not as interesting and good to map as the rest so one more point.

don't get me wrong. it's good that you point those things out since it is your opinion. i just wanted to clarify why i didn't change it according to that opinion so far. sorry :o

What I mean is instead of having a hit circle on that note, have a slider that lands on the next red/white tick. It feels much less empty. Also, the breaks seem fine, I was just wondering, but you definitely should do the SB on all breaks.

if that's what you meant i have to say i preffer it as it is because it sounds good as it is and this will make the map really hard in my opinion :cry:

but yeah, i'll make the storyboard for the other break too then :3 it's just a bit hard in that part since you hear the growling in the background but can't really make out what they're singing and it would be sad if i only used the clean vocal's lyrics. but there aren't any lyrics which have the growling part on the internet :x
i'll try it though.

i didn't only mean you in terms of the breaks, but if you go trough my mods you can see that about 1/2 if not even 2/3 are either asking me to map that part or think i'm not done with the map :o

Gonna mainly focus on rythm modding for this reminds me of my first maps aswell and you're definitly gonna change the aesthetics later on
Kiai could be added to the solo/chorus
Try to play around with volume setttings, for slower sections like 02:33:316 (1) - turn the volume a bit down, during the kiai turn to volume up etc
(mainly last diff) Same with slider velocity, you can put like 1.3-1.4sv during the solo, 1.2 kiai, 0.7 during the slower parts etc to emphasize these

Easy

-00:16:455 (2,3) - sliders like these would look nicer if they were the same in form (just copy/paste) because they're mapped to the exact same sound, you can still rotatem around after that if you want
- 00:54:576 (3,4,1,2) - would change these around like this and blanket (2) will look nicer
-01:09:575 (3) - It's an easy diff so you generally want only 1 return so I'd change it into somethign like
so it makes the end clickable aswell
-01:27:073 (1) - why not stack this on 01:25:198 (2) -
-02:09:569 (3) - change into 2 1/1 sliders here
-02:39:566 (1) - maybe something like this so that can get the beginning of the guitarsolo in
-02:44:565 (1,2,3,4,5) - you could make this like a little stair because the music clearly reaches a high here on (3) and looks a bit better than just lineair same for02:49:564 (1,2,3,4) -

Advanced

-Lower AR/OD/HP by 2 way too high because you're gonna need a diff between advanced and insane if you wanna get it ranked because of the large gap
-00:20:830 (1) - Would start directly with the slider here, so you start every other slider with a strong sound + it makes the end of 00:23:955 (1) - clickable
-00:59:576 (1) - would end this a tick sooner and not stack it, this is extremely hard to play for newcomers otherwise and will guarentee miss the next slider
-01:13:637 (2) - 1 return less => put note on 01:13:637 (2) - got the same lenght of kicks in each slider and it makes the end clickable
-01:28:948 (3,4,5,1) - this overlap is hell when you're gonna reduce the AR so would spread it out a bit
-02:01:132 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - would emphasize the vocals here with a rythm like this maybe
-02:05:819 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - like above suggestion
-02:49:564 (1) - same as in 00:59:576 (1)

well, i'm kinda sorry but it's a bit hard to reply to that mod because i made the changes over several days and don't really remember what i exactly did anymore :x but a few points:

first of all: i kinda thought that you'd like this song too since i saw that your m4m map was wintersun :D

about the speed changes: i kinda get what you mean. especially the one exact part you mentioned in the insane difficulty, but i really don't like those that much and i think they aren't a necessity so i will stay away from that i guess :x

volume changes: done

things you mentioned in the modding: did about uh... 80% of the things you suggested. really nice mod which helped me a lot, thanks! :D and sorry again for being that lazy and not looking at everything once again Dx if you want me to i can still do that.

General Easy Aesthetics mod
First off all....space...
00:11:456 (2,3) - For example, are over lapping even if they are 1/1 beats apart, looks terrible, plays stuffy and choked.
->Try using a locked DS of about 1.2 through out the map.It may sound high but its perfectly fine because, most beats are 1/1 apart which is (in terms of higher difficulties) a huge amount of time to get ready for the next objects. [ many notes are 2/1 notes apart it seems, for them even 0.8x ds seems like an exaggeration... test around with your Ds and Sv amounts to get the perfect fit!]
00:52:077 (3,1) - I would recommend you against using such over-laps in easier difficulties. Sure, its clearly visible, far away in time and play-able, but just look at it....
->try making shapes like in the image below, looks much better! and use a small grid size for accurate distance snap. Its ok to do them only if they are very far away in time, also depends highly on circle Ar, the lower the ar, the higher the time should be between such overlaps.

im too tired ._. your other difficulties also have similar mistakes so resolve as much as you can (sorry for the huge burden e.e)
in the last difficulty, please...there wayy too much circle spams....calm them down e.e
also, id recommend getting a 3.5/4 star difficulty for a proper spread.

Hello world.

I'm sorry for letting all the efforts everyone put into this slide, wasting time [just keep it goin' and goin']. I came to a realization: i suck at mapping. But! the normal difficulty seemingly wasn't thaat horrible. and the hard diff was slightly horrible but not as bad as the insane which seemingly was beyond repair.
I came to the conclusion to delete the Insane diff and finish this as a 2 difficulty map set. The hard diff. got a major overhaul (not 100% finished but almost) and once it is done this'll be ready for modding again and hopefully ranked somehow.

I can't hear that much important beats in there but circles are usually for important beats, plus I think it's not too comfortable to put a lot circles (except jumps) so I think I will be better to have some changed to sliders instead (like this one 01:19:261 (4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6) - is good) same as this 02:14:256 (5,6,1,2,3,4) - ...there are some more
02:06:288 (2) - move to left a bit, u can make a blanket here
making the map clean and neat is also important, the beginning of the map was great, but till the last part, they kinda squish together like this 02:58:314 (1,2,3,4,1) - you can make the map clean by moving them but avoid putting on them

well yea, if you think you suck at mapping so what? The thing you can do is to improve!! How can u improve? (well this is my way) check on mods for you, they help you to learn how to map better and know the reason why you should put circles, sliders...etc there , secondly, look at some maps and see how they were mapped. I hope you get better and better on mapping! ;)

i definitely know what you mean. there is a reason. if you listen closely (best at 25%) there's some extra drums everytime i use sliders. it is a bit hard for a hard map, i get that. so i'll reconsider after the next mod agrees to this or i'll ask for other opinions on this :3

once again this was something intentional. the whole part with the guitar solo is a bit more chaotic and messy but still doesn't go overboard in my opinion (correct distance spacing, nc, etc.). i was thinking about this part a lot too. i think it isn't too hard for the diff, the 'chaos' fits to the song part and yeah. but as above i will definitely reconsider if more people agree with your opinion :)

  8. 02:59:251 (4,1) - Also try to avoid the tiny overlap with these as it looks unintentional. done.
  9. 03:03:938 - Why didn't you map to the sound here? It's too strong to avoid. done.
  10. 03:07:063 (1) - Stack this repeat slider's head with 03:06:438 (2) - this circle. That way you will avoid the bad overlap. changed it but did it a little different to your suggestion.
  11. 03:08:313 (1) - Move this to x:290 y:216 for better visuals: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9213701
