SV's are speed variables in osu!mania that change the speed at which notes fall down during the song.
These can , in my opinion, become really annoying when it's not clear when exactly they happen.
I'm not entirely against having SV's in the game and I agree that it provides creativity and overall variation of mapping.
However, I feel it could help read the map better if there was a small warning that an SV is about to happen.
Think about warnings in osu!regular where there's a pause and a warning shows that notes are about to appear.
For SV's in mania this could be a little arrow up or a little arrow down, displayed on the side, depending on the change in speed.

I'm open to suggestions or feedback regarding this idea and why you would think this will or will not work.
In the end it could be an option in the settings that you can turn on and off.

Thank you for reading and any potential feedback.

Edit:
- Idea: A line in stead of arrows on the side, that drops down with the notes, showing exactly at what point the map changes in speed. A color determining if it's an increase or a decrease in speed.
- Idea: A small triangle scrolling down with the song outside of the note area on the side either pointing up or down.

This'll be such a mess on some maps
Like Conflict, where the SV changed constantly
Nevertheless, it feels like a good idea

Think about this. Will it work nicely on these maps?

It could be helpful but not necessary, notecharter don't randomly insert SVs unless it flows well with the song
And chances are it would be too messy for some songs
