Hanairo Biyori is "over-star-difficultied"

I had troubles coming up with a title.

I was looking at a list of osu's hardest beatmaps by star difficulty. To my surprise was that of Hanairo Biyori [Awaken's Challenge]
I'm not sure if its just me or something but does anyone else find that this beatmap is much much easier compared to other high 6 star maps?

Isn't the hardest diff really. There so many beatmaps more harder than that. :?

I heard that they strongly positively correlate with the difficulty of a song. But maybe thats just a rumor..

The ending of hanairo biyori is like 50x harder than the rest of the map

considering the jumps at the end are very similar to toumei elegy's jumps but lower bpm, and 1 star lower in difficulty, I'd say it's in a very good spot
