I really think this is okay, if it is confused, players will understand antiumps since hards are "pre insanes". In addition, the rhythm is very clear; 4 (tom hits I think?) that are equal intensity.

00:45:392 (4,5,6) - is weird why you make this jump, I prefer fix this spacing normal. I know this have higher vocal but mostly you style you don't make jump another parts that have high vocal, example in 00:49:892 (4,1) - this part have high vocal and high beat and you don't make jump. so that part in 00:45:392 (4,5,6) - should fix normal spacing then at 00:46:059 (1) - you can make jump wth 1.60x. Is just when I see you style, you make some jump with high vocal and beat and some not, feel is inconsistency.
01:11:725 (3,4) - spacing 2.80x on this level hard, is kindy hard to catch, I prefer reduce this spacing at <2.50x
01:23:059 (5) - this curve kindy ugly imo, improve more curve like this 01:23:392 (1) because this more beautiful than that lol

@Sharkie: Following what Pereira said, make 00:49:725 - clickable for consistency, please.
@appleeaterx: You are not convincing me enough, to be honest. You are comparing a very intense section (and also part of the Kiai) with the beginning of the map. Also, it doesn't make any sense because 00:11:725 (3,3) - are more emphasised in the background music, in case you want to keep that jump, you will have to make this section's jump increasing gradually, because this is a bit too unexpected.

@Yuii-: Yes, I am indeed comparing a very intense section with the beginning of the map, but if you listen closely they both have the same intensity / volume. Exactly the same, just at different times at the song. I just didn't disable KIAI at the last one, because that'd be weird to just suddenly stop the KIAI. Same for reverse, didn't put KIAI at the beginning of the song because ewwww.

Sort of extra explanation for this?

Not sure if waveforms actually make it clear/are valid, but as you can see both of the section are identical to each other, KIAI or not.

I initially wanted to put jumps here as well as I explained earlier, but indeed because it's the beginning of the map, I didn't want it to be too exaggerated, especially with a stream after this as well. I think we can also both agree that 00:12:892 (2,3) - is much easier to hit that 01:27:559 (2,3,4,5) - . The player should also be prepared (it doesn't really come up too sudden imo), because there are some large, even though they are slider-based, jumps at 00:11:725 (3,1) - 00:12:392 (3,1) - . There are also slider-based jumps in the calmest part of the song, see 00:10:059 (1,2,3) - . So I can't fully agree with you that the jumps are that unexpected as you said unfortunately.

In addition to that, the way that the pattern is shaped (it's a hexagon + triangle + the slider body, head, end are clearly visible already, and quickly because of AR9) this should be really easy to predict.

Hope this is sufficient.

To make it a bit more reasonable for you, I made a small increase in distance at every combo. I have this at both sections now, or else it'd destroy my initial thoughs / my consistency.

In the first section it's 1.25 -> 1.4 -> 2.09 (this 2.09 is exaggerated in the editor, after several testplays and the explanation above it's clear that this is much easier to hit, at least for me)
In the second section it's something similar to that.

I seem to care too much about my patterns >_>
Just fixed it a bit, the spacing increases gradually now in both section, but not too much. Hope my explanation & this small change can satisfy you!

- 00:26:392 (2,3,4) - I would reduce the jump here, maybe even make it your regular 1.30x spacing, since you didn't put a jump on 00:25:059 (2,3) - . (And I think reducing spacing is better than making more jumps)
- 00:27:892 (2,3) - This jump doesn't really emphasize a lot. There is a drum there yes, but it's not something very unique and I feel for a Hard you should be more selective of what you emphasize xD.

Well, that's usually what I go for, the map looking like shit because I think it looks cool in-game! If mapping is an artform, you could compare it to art. For example you could have a beautiful Picasso painting, at the same time, there are very popular "abstract" pieces, like Kandinsky, that often are extremely ugly and look like something just splattered paint and called it a day. I try to do the latter.
