[Archived] Random Input Delay Spikes

Problem Details: Just noticed it today, right after downloading a new skin. Occurs when changing songs and randomly throughout a map

You're telling us it's likely a problem with the skin but...

- You haven't linked the skin.
- You haven't said whether switching back to the default skin fixed the problem.

I have since confirmed that it was not the skin, switching to default skin/ any other skin did not resolve the problem.
It has however gone away switching from stable to cutting edge, so it must be an error with the current Stable version.

osu! will eventually be updated to the OpenGL version. You could try using either beta or cutting-edge in the meanwhile.

UPDATE:
Now occurs on Beta AND Cutting Edge versions
Stable (Fallback) is the only version without the input delay spikes
