Here's what I was thinking: So a ribbon is a picture(a ribbon) that shows next to your name in the little box of your stats(for example in the osu!Bancho) and on your profile page/forums posts.

RIBBON GROUPS:

-#1.000.000+ = A grey ribbon.
-#1.000.000 - #500.000 = A bronze ribbon.
-#500.000 - #100.000 = A silver ribbon.
-#100.000 - #50.000 = A gold ribbon.
-#50.000 - #1.000 = A diamond ribon.
-#1.000 - #1 = A Champion Ribbon(osu styled super ribbon).

Please reply with your thoughts on this idea.

This reminds me about people requesting a tier system like that one online game everyone plays (forgot which one, I believe it was LoL)
Don't bring that to osu

This is not even close to Leauge of Legends ranking system. It is just a ribbon that shows your experience in the game. It will only change with your rank, so there is no new ranking system implementation needed.
