  1. I still feel like the timing is weird since this was taken from a set ranked a while ago but oh well

Cup
Opening thoughts: Really easy, plays simple despite the timeline being a bit weird and inconsistent imo.
  1. 00:31:487 (3,4) - Would recommend moving this further to the right, where it is now seems awkward and not enough movement
  2. 00:42:768 (2,3,4) - this needs movement. maybe something like 00:34:307 (2,3,4) -
  3. 00:35:717 (1,1) - also let it be noted that the break here could possibly be filled
  4. 00:46:998 (1,3) - angle these sliders because keeping them vertical is dull
  5. 00:53:344 (2) - Ctrl+h and move to x:368 for a more suiting pattern than the one before. Seemed too tedious and awkward
  6. 00:55:459 (4) - Ctrl+g for more movement but you may wanna move 00:57:574 (5,6) - a bit closer
  7. 01:06:739 (1) - NC here
  8. 01:09:560 (1) - Ctrl+h and move to x:352 for a better suitting flow for a cup
  9. 01:12:380 (1) - spinner doesn't fit, should just keep mapping like normal
  10. 01:21:546 (4) - Ctrl+h for a better finish.
Song Setup Recommendations:Kinda late and hard to fix now, but don't use such a high SV for a cup next time. It doesn't fit although it should be fine here

Closing Thoughts: Good and simple cup. About as simple as it gets.

Salad
Opening thoughts: This salad is quite easy and simple. It isn't bad just a bit dull but it fits the mood of the song i guess.
  1. 00:25:846 (4) - would replace this with a 1/2 slider and have a small dash to a circle instead of a repeat here. Vocals call for a dash
  2. 00:43:120 (5) - I feel this should be broken into 2 hitcircles and have a dash because of the vocal emphasis.
  3. 00:54:048 (3) - this should be a hit circle and have it dash to the vocal instead of a slider covering it all
Song Setup Recommendations: none really
Closing Thoughts: I feel like this diff is too consistent in distancing. Little jumps needed dash and some jumps didn't fit the actual emphasis of the music despite being heavy vocal cue. I would make the jumps fit the vocals since it's the main thing in this song.

Platter
Opening thoughts: Feels a bit forced. Some of this seems a bit overpatterned and has awkward flow. Overall I would recommend fixing the patterns to play for a more simple flow instead of the constant left right flow you got now. That is my main dislike with this diff
  1. 00:03:285 (1,2,3,4) - the movements here ar really awkward. Not hard but awkward, make it flow easier with simple left to right but have dashes accent the music emphasis
  2. 00:04:695 (1,2,3) - these shouldn't be standstill, add movement and a dash to the last note or something interesting
  3. 00:06:105 (5) - Hyper or at least dash into this please.
  4. 00:06:986 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This whole section just seems tedious, really try to find the rhythm of the song rather than what seems to be random note placement.
  5. The timeline used for this diff just really feels awkward and not suited to match the vocal emphasis and such for proper dashing. I would highly recommend taking a second look at this timeline and trying to use sliders and circles in a way that gives you the ability to dash to emphasized notes and such better than this one. This one seems to follow a very little movement left right shimmy pattern through a good majority of the song. Also a lot of the distancing is quite awkward to play. It's not large enough to feel like a proper dash but not small enough to feel like a proper walk. I would find a good overall distancing to use and stick to it so the jumps and overall flow of the map feels more consistent than it is now. It is playable but it's awkward and isn't enjoyable. Also 1.9 SV is too high for a platter and I feel it gives the sliders the awkward feel I can't get over. I normally use low SV like 1.5 or 1.6 for platter since it fits and gives sliders a nice glide to them for easy flow. I know the BPM is low but that also means the SV and overall movement should be kinda slow on the sliders in my opinion. The weird anti flow on patterns such as 00:38:714 (1,2,3,4,5) - create unnecessary difficulty and don;t feel like platter patterns but watered down Rain patterns. Anti flow patterns such as these should be kept to minimum and only used one every once in a while so it isn't just overall pointlessly difficult and weird. 01:04:095 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - patterns such as these are just way too hard for Platter despite the SR saying it's easy. They are tedious and quite frankly overdone. Keep it simple and don't use high spacing unless a dash is intended. Don't use decently high spacing consistently like 01:08:502 (6,7,8,9,10,11) -
Song Setup Recommendations: none
Closing Thoughts: Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but this diff needs quite a bit of work, and should be checked over thoroughly starting with the timeline. Timeline seems a bit heavy for little reason at times with 1/2 sliders everywhere when this is a platter and shouldn't call for such heavy noting on a mild song for the most part. After that take into account spacing and try to keep a steady easily walkable flow aside from obvious dashes on emphasis such as vocals.

Rain
Opening thoughts:Very similar situation to the Platter. This is way too hard and overpatterned. The spacing for almost everything is too high and is that of an Overdose despite the SR saying it's close to a rain SR. Opening thoughts: Really easy, plays simple despite the timeline being a bit weird and inconsistent imo.
  1. 00:31:487 (3,4) - Would recommend moving this further to the right, where it is now seems awkward and not enough movement
  2. 00:42:768 (2,3,4) - this needs movement. maybe something like 00:34:307 (2,3,4) -
  3. 00:35:717 (1,1) - also let it be noted that the break here could possibly be filled i feel like a break here is necessary, also since this part is like more slow and it's background noises, and then it picks up again. the breaks feels good there. If someone else mentions it, i will fill it.
  4. 00:46:998 (1,3) - angle these sliders because keeping them vertical is dull
  5. 00:53:344 (2) - Ctrl+h and move to x:368 for a more suiting pattern than the one before. Seemed too tedious and awkward
  6. 00:55:459 (4) - Ctrl+g for more movement but you may wanna move 00:57:574 (5,6) - a bit closer i don't know if you meant to put 5 and 6 closer to each other, or to the (4). I just both moved them closer to the (4) but the distances from eachother is no change.
  7. 01:06:739 (1) - NC here
  8. 01:09:560 (1) - Ctrl+h and move to x:352 for a better suitting flow for a cup
  9. 01:12:380 (1) - spinner doesn't fit, should just keep mapping like normal

Song Setup Recommendations:Kinda late and hard to fix now, but don't use such a high SV for a cup next time. It doesn't fit although it should be fine here I honestly don't remember setting a High SV for this diff ;w;

Closing Thoughts: Good and simple cup. About as simple as it gets.

Salad
Opening thoughts: This salad is quite easy and simple. It isn't bad just a bit dull but it fits the mood of the song i guess. well it's an easy-ish difficulty, so yes, it is dull.
  1. 00:25:846 (4) - would replace this with a 1/2 slider and have a small dash to a circle instead of a repeat here. Vocals call for a dash
  2. 00:43:120 (5) - I feel this should be broken into 2 hitcircles and have a dash because of the vocal emphasis.
  3. 00:54:048 (3) - this should be a hit circle and have it dash to the vocal instead of a slider covering it all
Song Setup Recommendations: none really
Closing Thoughts: I feel like this diff is too consistent in distancing. Little jumps needed dash and some jumps didn't fit the actual emphasis of the music despite being heavy vocal cue. I would make the jumps fit the vocals since it's the main thing in this song. Will keep in mind for futher editing/mods

Opening thoughts: Feels a bit forced. Some of this seems a bit overpatterned and has awkward flow. Overall I would recommend fixing the patterns to play for a more simple flow instead of the constant left right flow you got now. That is my main dislike with this diff
  1. 00:03:285 (1,2,3,4) - the movements here ar really awkward. Not hard but awkward, make it flow easier with simple left to right but have dashes accent the music emphasis
  2. 00:04:695 (1,2,3) - these shouldn't be standstill, add movement and a dash to the last note or something interesting ...i'll think about it. I put this in this diff and on the rain diff. Also, i ((totally didn't copy this from the standard mapset)) loved the idea of having just the stacked notes on the LALALALALA. Maybe with further modding i'll change it, or change it on my own.
  3. 00:06:105 (5) - Hyper or at least dash into this please.
  4. 00:06:986 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This whole section just seems tedious, really try to find the rhythm of the song rather than what seems to be random note placement. Tedious? probobly not in my opinion. Trying to find the rhythm? I suppose i could come up with something else.
  5. The timeline used for this diff just really feels awkward and not suited to match the vocal emphasis and such for proper dashing. I would highly recommend taking a second look at this timeline and trying to use sliders and circles in a way that gives you the ability to dash to emphasized notes and such better than this one. This one seems to follow a very little movement left right shimmy pattern through a good majority of the song. that was kind-of the point in this diff. i just wanted to try something different and somewhat gimmicky to play. But i can see what you're trying to say, maybe i put too much into it and not much thoughts.
    Also a lot of the distancing is quite awkward to play. It's not large enough to feel like a proper dash but not small enough to feel like a proper walk. 8-) totally not a professional answer i know, but i personally like this way. Maybe i'll change it over-time or i'll come up with something that's not so awkward
    I would find a good overall distancing to use and stick to it so the jumps and overall flow of the map feels more consistent than it is now. It is playable but it's awkward and isn't enjoyable. Also 1.9 SV is too high for a platter and I feel it gives the sliders the awkward feel I can't get over.uhmm i tried to give it a 1.5 SV and the sliders don't change? So, i don't see the problem here, the sliders are a good distance that's not too far to dash it.
    I normally use low SV like 1.5 or 1.6 for platter since it fits and gives sliders a nice glide to them for easy flow. I know the BPM is low but that also means the SV and overall movement should be kinda slow on the sliders in my opinion. The weird anti flow on patterns such as 00:38:714 (1,2,3,4,5) - create unnecessary difficulty and don;t feel like platter patterns but watered down Rain patterns.ok i'll give it to you on that one, will change it
    Anti flow patterns such as these should be kept to minimum and only used one every once in a while so it isn't just overall pointlessly difficult and weird. 01:04:095 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - patterns such as these are just way too hard for Platter despite the SR saying it's easy. They are tedious and quite frankly overdone. Keep it simple and don't use high spacing unless a dash is intended. Don't use decently high spacing consistently like 01:08:502 (6,7,8,9,10,11) - i'll try to come up with something :P
Song Setup Recommendations: none wut
Closing Thoughts: Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but this diff needs quite a bit of work, and should be checked over thoroughly starting with the timeline. Timeline seems a bit heavy for little reason at times with 1/2 sliders everywhere when this is a platter and shouldn't call for such heavy noting on a mild song for the most part. After that take into account spacing and try to keep a steady easily walkable flow aside from obvious dashes on emphasis such as vocals.

Rain
Opening thoughts:Very similar situation to the Platter. This is way too hard and overpatterned. The spacing for almost everything is too high and is that of an Overdose despite the SR saying it's close to a rain SR. General Comments:

  1. Song Folder: So despite what the ID3 tag says your current mp3 actually has a quality below 128kbps which is unrankable. I couldn't find a decent source for the song with higher quality unfortunately - did you get this from the ranked map? Also, background image is 1365x768. I know you're only missing one column of pixels, but if you could find a 1366x768 BG, that'd be great
  2. Song Setup: Will discuss for each diff individually since I have a spread concern
  3. Metadata: No issues (assuming the ranked version is correct in this regard)
  4. Timing: No issues
  5. Hitsounds: You have no hitsounds for some sections of the song, e.g. between 00:01:875 and 00:06:986 which leaves sections feeling very bland and underemphasized. You can use whistles as well as claps and finishes to provide more subtle hitsounding in this regard, which will compliment the song rhythms and make the map much more interesting to play
  6. AImod: No issues
Difficulty-Specific Comments:


Cup
  1. AR/OD4 is really low for a CtB diff, even at low BPM like this. I'd suggest raising these to 5
  2. 01:15:200 (1,2) - This spacing is really unexpected and will be very difficult for a beginner to catch. Suggest moving (2) to somewhere like x-416
  3. 01:15:200 (1,3,1,2) - All of these sliders are oriented towards the right, which feels a little repetitive. You could make 01:18:020 (1) a "C"-shaped slider moving left initially (for example) to add some more variety
Some spacings seem a little inconsistent, but there's no reason to be nitpicky with them right now. Otherwise, solid diff.

Dylan's Salad
  1. If you increase AR/OD of Cup to 5, Raise them to 6.5 on this diff to balance the gap between Cup and Platter. Also, I'd use HP5, since Cup is HP4 and Platter is HP6
  2. This diff can be FCed with only two dashes, so it presents a serious spread issue. I highly recommend adding some spacing to the more prominent notes (which I will list some of below) to bring the difficulty of this up a bit
  3. 00:04:695 (1,3) - These are both strong vocal notes on the border of requiring dash, making them confusing to read. Try increasing the distance to each of these slightly so that it's obvious dash is required
  4. 00:12:803 (2) - Please don't map sliderends to strong downbeats like this, it really reduces the emphasis. Replace this slider with two circles with a dash between them
  5. 00:17:738 (4,5) - Increase spacing to create a dash here, consistency with 00:15:271 (4,1) - you even used a finish hitsound here so this should definitley have more emphasis
  6. 00:21:263 (4) - Same as 00:12:803 (2)
  7. 00:22:674 (2) - ^
  8. 00:25:846 (4,5) - Spacing here can be increased slightly to highlight the need to dash. It's a little confusing to read at the moment

These are just some very basic suggestions to get your diff into a more fitting place relative to the expected difficulty and the spread of the set in general. It's up to you how to implement these suggestions whilst developing your own style

Platter
  1. 00:02:403 (3,4) - This intor section is so calm, I would avoid using antiflow here as it doesn't compliment the music. Having (4) face left instead would provide a smoother flow that plays better in my opinion
  2. 00:03:813 (2,3) - ^, you can optionally flip 00:04:342 (4) to make a / \ pattern if you want to keep other spacings as they are now
  3. 00:12:979 (3) - I'd separate these into two circles so you can make a small jump between them, since the tail of (3) is the first strong downbeat note in the song
  4. 00:20:911 (4,5,6) - Previous hyperdash placements suggest the hdash should be between (5,6) rather than (4,5). Suggest changing to this for consistency in hypering to the downbeat
  5. 00:22:674 (2) - Same as 00:12:979 (3)
  6. 00:37:127 (1,2) - Hyper doesn't really fit here imo, (2) is a really weak beat on a red tick. A normal dash would fit better here
  7. 00:40:476 (5,1) - More spacing to the strong vocal sound would be nice here
  8. 00:55:459 (4) - NC here please, this combo gets really long and leads into a spinner, which will cause a lot of fruit to pile up on the plate and obstruct the player's view
  9. 00:57:926 (8,9) - More spacing here would be good to emphasize the vocal sound and finish the section
  10. 01:03:743 (4,5) - Considering (5) is the strong downbeat and the most prominent note in this section, I find it really odd that you decided to hyper pretty much everything except this lol. Moving 01:03:390 (3) to x-208 and 01:03:919 (5) to x-144 plays better and is more fitting to the rhythm
  11. 01:04:448 (2) - Separate this into two circle, or swap 01:04:448 (2,3) on the timeline, since you really want to be emphasizing the strong white tick vocal sound with a dash of some sort
  12. 01:07:092 (2) - Why hyper to this? It's a really weak note and feels very forced. If you were going to hyper to anything in this section it would be 01:07:444 (3) for the drum sound, but I feel regular dashes would fit the calmness of this measure better
  13. 01:14:671 (5,6) - Hyper to a blue tick feels really weird to play, especially when you have very little movement to the actual strong downbeat sound. Try adding a repeat to (5) and replacing (6) with a circel on the downbeat, and add hdash to it
  14. 01:18:373 (2,3,4) - Double hdash feels really excessive here, the second hdash to (4) doesn't really fit since there's no one strong sound here. I'd remove this one and replace with a regular dash for the accented vocal "rrrr"
  15. 01:20:840 (6,3) - Spacing to these can be increased for the strong vocal sounds to add some emphasis to the climax of the song
Generally plays fine, although I find some of the rhythm choices in the kiai a little strange

Rain
  1. Are you sure about AR/OD9 here? At this BPM it feels way too fast, and even when you're using 1/4 it can be difficult to plan movements to upcoming notes. I'd recommend something a little lower, like 8.5
  2. 00:02:756 (5,6) - 00:03:637 (3,4) - The intro is so calm, adding hdashes is really unnecessary. Regular dashes would fit better here
  3. Rearranging this to circle > 2 sliders allows you to dash to the strong vocal sounds on the red and white ticks, rather than having them as underemphasized sliderends. Dashing to a strong note often feels more natural than away from it, though not always. Something to consider.
  4. 00:08:573 (2,3) - This hypers to a ghosted note, which feels especially weird to play and unfitting. Strong hyper + antiflow to 00:09:102 (4,5) is really weird to, would recommend reducing these to normal dashes
  5. 00:18:091 (5,6,7) - Reverse order here and include hypers to the downbeat and previous red tick for the vocal sounds, this plays much better imo, similar to the pattern you have at 00:20:911 (4,5,1)
  6. 00:26:199 (1,2) - Swap NC, new measure starts on the downbeat at (2) instead of here
  7. 00:28:667 (8,9,10,11) - Regular dashes would fit better here, there's really nothing that strong to emphasize with a hyper chain pattern
  8. 00:39:771 (7,8) - Jump polarity is confusing here, since as before you're emphasizing blue ticks which are really weak. Replacing this with circle > slider > circle will aloow you to emphasize the strong white and red ticks better
  9. 00:42:768 (5,6) - This spacing is really unexpected, I'd lower it a bit
  10. 00:52:991 (2,3,4) - (3) is a much stronger vocal note, so I'd recommend hyper to here instead of (4)
  11. 00:55:106 (7,8) - Another hyper to blue tick eeeeee 00:55:459 (1) isn't strong either so hdash would be better off just disappearing here tbh
  12. 01:03:743 (3,4,5) - This would play better with the hyper to (4) rather than away from it
  13. Kiai sections are mostly fine, but watch out for more of the above mentioned hyper patterns - if you reworked any previous paterns to hyper to the strong sound rather than away from it, you'll need to apply the same ideas here to maintain consistency
This diff isn't bad, but does feel a little overdone, some hypers are just unnecessary and draw emphasis away from the sounds that are actually worth emphasizing. Up to you whether you want to review that or not, but it's a strong suggestoion

You should change the timeline up a bit so that there could be dashes for the emphasized beats such as 00:13:860 and 00:14:565

  2. 01:03:214 (2,1) - Imo more movement is needed here, compared to 01:09:560 (1) - 01:15:200 (1,2) . okay
  3. 01:12:380 (1,2) - Just my opinion but these two shouldn't be identical. Because here 01:13:790 (2) is clearly a different rhythm compared to 01:12:380 (1) changed .

  1. 00:07:162 (5,6) - Just curious but is there any reason for stacking them? ....no XD
  2. 00:57:574 (2,3) - Tbh I think some sort of force is needed, I would place 00:58:279 (3) to the left side so it would become a dash and I think the flow's better this way. sure
  3. 01:15:905 (2) - Could have been a horizontal one for a better movement sure.

Opening thoughts: This is nice gameplay wise.
  1. 00:06:105 (6,7,8) - this part seems weird timeline wise. 00:06:458 (7) - seems out of place here. Would change into a slider that ends at 00:06:810 (7) - and add another circle at 00:07:162 (8) - this works better. i changed the slider end for (7) but i won't add another circlle after since this part is more calm.
  2. 00:04:695 (1) - NC here okay
  3. 00:10:688 (1) - NC here pls okay
  4. 00:21:616 (1) - The spinner here isn't consistent with other diffs and feels a bit forced, i would just map the sounds here. i agree that it's not consistant, but i do like this spinner there since it's really a beginner difficulty.
  5. 00:35:012 (4,1) - Maybe use a long slider here instead? made the (4) into a slier but kept (1), i like it this way
  6. 00:55:459 (1) - NC hereokay

Closing Thoughts: This cup is pretty solid. c:

Opening thoughts: This salad works fine but I feel the way the timeline is done leaves it way less than what it could've been. For example, 00:12:803 (2,1) - there is a slider tail on the downbeat and a slider tail for the emphasized beat. This is a recurring problem for this diff. You should change the timeline up a bit so that there could be dashes for the emphasized beats such as 00:13:860 and 00:14:565 i'll see if i can do something about it :P

Closing Thoughts: I dont want to say this map needs to be completely redone but it would be a lot better if you redid the timeline and made it work more to have dashes to emphasized sounds.

I have to admit that note at 00:01:875 - doesn't fit to me, I would put spinner's end here which should start at 00:01:169 -
Combo colors: maybe use violet instead gray?

AR spread: the song is pretty slow why you didn't pick AR fitting to it? For me best AR spread that could be used is 5-6-7-8 (5.5-6.5-7.5-8.5 is fine too tho)

i do like this idea, but with the current way the rain is, ar9 seems way more fitting that way.

i don't really see the problem with having no curves to the sliders, some people do it that way. You could've come up with actual points to help improve the difficulties instead of just saying "this is bad"
