The system sounds nice but well, measuring distance is possible but measuring speed... Hm... This might be kinda hard.

It's easy! In fact, I made an entire description on the subject over here!

As for the stats idea, no point. Distance what correlate to number of plays and speed would correlate to beatmap's SV.
