so my game is 320x320 for each room but when it goes full screen
the game has black bars i'm thinking of using those black bars to
Put score,lives, etc.

think of ikaruga or the touhou bullet hell game.

Have you thought of investigating why this is? Look up a few tutorials. Sounds like the resolution is messed up.
