Well, I just finished watching Literature Girl.
And I gotta say, that movie just blew my mind.
Definitely worth watching, especially if you fancied "5 Centimeters Per Second".
The characters are all great, and ad life to an almost unique plot.
Not saying the plot was bad, the story in fact was actually very good.
It's all about a girl in high school named Touko, and she's is what's known as a "Literature Girl" ,
in other words, instead eating and drinking like normal people, She eats stories.
And by eating stories she can remember every little thing about them, from the author that wrote the story, to lines, sentences, and dialog that are within the story itself.
One day a novel is released by a young boy using the pen name "Inoue Miu".
The novel is an instant hit, selling thousands of copies and even got a movie adaption.
While at school one day Inoue happens across Touko sitting under a tree eat a story
from the book he wrote. Toukou then forces Inoue into the school's Literature Club
(which has only one member, Touko), and he is forced to write "snacks" for her every day after school. Toukou only has Inoue do this to make sure that he keeps on writing and coming up with more great stories for both her, and the world to enjoy.
This movie is definitely worth watching.
And I would really really happy to see it get an English Dub.
I now feel like writing a story now.
Even if it's just a short one.
This movie is somewhat inspiring.
