What really bugs me about this is, that you particularly make people feel unwanted with giving curtly negative answers like that to an open and honest request. This is not what you do if you want a forum to be a generally nice place to be, with active people that also draw in newcomers and motivate them to stay as well.
See what Medic did, he's not interested and still provided something useful. I bet you can do that too if you try a bit harder.
