Welcome to the first ever Skandinavian Osu! Allmodes tourney

1. who can join?

You're free to sign up if you are from the following countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Åland Islands!
And for the fun of it let's allow Finland as well! How to sing up is shown in paragraph 2

2. Sign ups

The tourney starts saturday Oktober 24. 3 pm (15.00), and we play each weekend (saturday + sunday) untill we are finished with the finals.
Signup ends friday 18. september 23.59
To register your team, please post in this topic with the following format:

3. Rules

1. Each match is played 2v2
2. Each match is a best of 5 with a tiebreaker at 2-2
3. When you've chosen players for a match, must those 2 players play until the match is finished.
4.The chooser of the game mode for tiebreaker is decided by the highest !roll (100)
5. the same team may not choose the same game mode twice in a row.

A


1: Each match is played 2v2 or 1v2

2 Map pool is decided by Divine Cake, Kiwi Stick and Razor Sharp
-there will be 2 standard beatmaps for all modes (nomode, freemode, HD, DT, and HR)
- these maps can also be used as auto converts (but no HR for mania)
-there will be 2x4k mania-, 2x7k mania-, and 2x taiko -exclusive free mode maps
-Meaning there will be 16 maps for each Tournament Stage
- (+5 tiebreakers, One Standard, One CtB, One Taiko, One 4k Mania and One 7k Mania)
-Choosing HR maps for Mania is illegal. Because HR is unranked for Osu!Mania
-If Free Mode is chosen at least one (1) player on each team has to use at least one (1) mod
-Special rules for Osu!Mania Free mode under C §3

3: Scheduling is handled by Tournament Staff
-Players/teams may wish for special times to play, if the set time/date time is problematic.

4: Revived scores count

5: Beatmaps ending in ties are voided. And the last map chooser gets to choose a new bm

6: The staff may delay a match if Bancho is too unstable.

7: Matces wait a maximum of 15 minutes for players after the set time.
-Players missing after that cannot play in the match.
- If there are no players on one of the competing teams, the other team wins by default.

8: Frame skips, computer freezes, internal internet latency, is not a valid reason for a rematch.


B

1: Each team is made of one or two players plus one in reserve if the team wishes.

2: Team name can be anything. As long as it does not support anyone, or contain rude language.

3: How to sign up is under §2 in the main post
-Signups end Friday 18. september 23.59
-You can change the team rooster until Friday 18. september 23.59. Edits made to existing posts and new posts after the signup date are voided.
-Special reason for editing after the signup date has ended? Contact tournament staff

4: The reserve plays if one or two of the main players are unable to play.

5: The tourney is played in a double elimination.

C (That which makes it all-modes)

1: Your team may not choose the same game mode twice in a row.
-Blue team can choose standard, and Red Team can follow up with another standard, but Blue Team cannot choose another standard bm. They’ll have to choose one of the other game modes.

2: In best of 7 and higher (where each team choose 3+ beatmaps), can the third choice mode be the same as the first (taiko, mania, taiko)

3: You can only change the amont of keys used in mania, in a free mode map

4: Tidebreaker will be one specific map for each mode. The mode least played in the match will be used.
-If more than one mode has been played equaly few times, must both teams decide together what game mode to play the tiebreaker.
-If the teams cannot agree, the referee will use !roll (1-50=Blue Team’s game mode. 51-100=Red Team’s game mode).
