Hey, i don't know if it's the good topic to talk about this, and/or if this was already asked so sorry in advance.

I'd like to cover a song (to map it after aswell) but i don't know how to delete voices on an mp3 (the times i tried i just destroyed the song >//<)
I have Audacity and i don't want to buy software, so if you have something to give, i'd like it to be free D:

Thanks in advance ♥ ~

As far as I know, unless the vocals is a completely separate track from the song, it's next to impossible to mute out the vocals without ruining the instrumentals in the process. :p

Just out of curiosity, what's the song that you want to cover?

i don't know, i was highly inspired by Sharlo, and the song looks like perfect, not destroyed D: (i'd like to ask Her but seems like she didn't connected for a while so)

Hmm, I'm not sure about AOI-IRO STEP, but there is an instrumental version of Fubuki (KanColle ed, right?).

It should, I think.
If you're going to record with a backing track, then have the song playing with headphones while you record your voice.

in the music you mean? go to the songs folder and find the song, delete the mp3 files, except for hitsounds :)

Think this should be moved to the Music forum. :)

I do covers too. I use audacity's Remove Vocals and Isolation option under effects, but sometimes it does leave some backup vocals behind. Best bet is to find instrumentals already made. :)
Hope I helped :3
