Actually I was getting this idea because by switching from cutting-edge to stable, a bug appears, when I turn the fullscreen mode on and off my osu! window's borders disappear and the window goes where it was with the letterboxing-mode on cutting-edge, this is what I get :

And that's really handy, I was thinking this was a good idea to implement this to the game with the position system like you've done with the letterboxing mode. (to be simpler : what I want is the letterboxing mode without the black borders).

I hope you'll understand :)

Thanks !

Why not just use windowed? This really seems useless.

Because the border looks like shit and wastes space?

Set monitor to desired resolution
Set game resolution to borderless
Set monitor back to native resolution.

This used to work I'm pretty sure.

How incredibly convenient.

To be clear, I never play with a windowed resolution, but I'm getting pretty tired of reading the "I wouldn't use this option so it's a stupid idea" type of post in this section
I'm never against ideas that I wouldn't use unless they are useless. This is useless.

I dont really see the problem, borderless is basically like fullscreen, seems pretty useless if you ask me
