  1. 00:20:864 (1,2) - I don't find this small overlap beautiful compared to the other overlaps.
  2. 01:32:402 (3,1) - The flow here is a bit weird :/
  3. 02:02:864 (4,1) - Blanket them?

  1. 00:11:171 (1,2) - blanket is off
  2. 00:32:171 (2,3) - ^
  3. 00:53:633 (1,3) - Stack is off
  4. 02:53:171 (4,1) - This overlap isn't beautiful, please change the pattern.

This was all I could find. I would like to mod Insane too but I'm still learning how to mod them and my mod for Insane won't be useful.

    I see this is a regular issue in this diff, so keep track of it. Having so many offbeat sliders causes instable rhythm, and this song is really consistently done.

    Same for 02:28:710 (3,4,1) - 03:03:787 (3,4,1) -
  2. 01:11:633 (4,1) - Not really optimal flow. Same for 01:13:479 (4,1) - 02:32:864 (5,1) -
  3. 01:33:094 (2) - Switch with circle + slider, goes over an important beat.
  4. 01:57:325 (3,4,5) - Ctrl+g and reposition, this goes way better with the music and avoids the offbeat slider.
[Insane]
  1. 00:03:556 (6,2) - 297 |249 for better emphasis on the beats.
  2. The map would be more refined if sliders that end on strong beats would be replaced with a slider + circle:
    00:17:633 (4) - 00:25:017 (4) - 00:30:556 (4) - etc. You already did this most of the time, so why not make it consistent throughout the map?
    Using 1/1 sliders is bad in almost every case when strong snares/cambals are on slidertails.
  3. 00:38:864 (1) - The 1/2 slider suggestion is actually valid here since the the vocal line is not holding a note here, but it's more of a flat sound (like when you're moaning).
  4. 02:21:325 (4) - This goes over important beats, map these out with a circle and a triple at 02:21:556 - which you're missing anyway.
    03:07:479 (5) - ^
  5. Spacing issues with the circles after 1/4 sliders has already been mentioned by Natsu, please take care of that as well since it causes a lot of uncleanness.

@Lumael, the stuff I was saying about the slider spacing didn't refer to distance spacing, but rather just how close the sliders were as objects. It doesn't really matter anymore but I thought you wanted to know.

  1. 00:02:633 (3,4) - This jump felt a bit large for the intro.
  2. 00:28:710 (4,5,6,7,1,2,3) - I don't really like this spacing concept here. The spacing, visually speaking, is too similar so beats like 00:29:171 (5) - and
  3. 00:30:094 (3) - are under-appreciated.
  4. 01:29:517 (1,2) - Tbh this is just really confusing to read imo :P. Also cuz the 1/8 is positioned in a way that makes it seem like a triplet lol.
  5. 01:44:171 (4,5) - No jump here?
  6. 02:13:941 (4,5,6) - Flow could be better here imo.

  1. 00:22:248 (1,2) - You could blanket them better.
  2. 00:44:171 (4,1,2) - The jump from 4>1 doesn't seem that necessary imo. If anything a jump from 1>2 would make more sense to me.
  3. 00:45:787 (3,1) - This is quite a big jump relatively to everything else so far.
  4. 01:21:325 (1,2) - This kind of drop-off flow is kinda awkward to play because there's still a big directional change here xP. Something less flow-breaky would be nice.
  5. 01:29:633 (4,5) - I wouldn't put 1/8 sliders on a Hard just because it's not something Hard players will be familiar with. It's not unrankable to keep them, but its treading in dangerous waters imo.
  6. 02:52:710 (3,4) - You could use 1/4 sliders with 2x repeats here for something more interesting.

Tbh, while this Normal is fairly well mapped, it's way too dense to be considered a Normal. a Normal should have a good balance of 1/1 and 1/2 rhythm but your "Normal" is largely 1/2 rhythm. A large majority of your objects occur within a 1/2 beat of another object which is a problem because it creates a difficulty jump from Easy to Normal even though the star rating appears to be evenly spread.

    Using 1/1 sliders is bad in almost every case when strong snares/cambals are on slidertails. lol i highly disagree with you saying that it's "bad", and if it was truly bad as you say, then why do so so so many maps have sliders ending on a snare beat? the only snare beat in this song that 100% needs to be clicked are ones that sound like this 00:17:171

Also, that's not even where the triplet would go, it would start here 02:21:787
    03:07:479 (5) - ^ ^ i kept it consistent throughout every chorus for a reason

[Hard]
  1. 00:12:556 (3,1) - Make spacing more even here. I see you know how to emphasize distance like this, but I don't think excessive usage of that is appropriate for Hard
  2. 00:14:633 (4,1) - ^^ (Applies to all other similar things where distance breaks 1.7x)
  3. 00:26:864 (3,4) - These sliders don't really fit, please remove the curve, this also plays better with 00:27:787 (1) - as that only has red nodes (no curves)
  4. 01:01:710 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - The distance here is ridiculous. A triplet is already rare in this diff. When you do those, you combine them with low spacing, here it has jumps and triplets. Even though BPM is low, I'd see this in an Insane
  5. 01:29:864 (5,1) - The jump O.o 3.0 spacing in 1/4 in Hard O.o Tone down please
  6. 02:36:555 (5,6) - You use spacing the whole time, and then suddenly, a wild stack appears. Please space it as well, it's really hard to read

About Metadata I am not sure atm, but it is not wrong to have Reol on artist and on title, because this song was composed by Reol, but the original version is sang by Kagamine Rin and Megurine Luka, and this is Reol's & Giga's Version, but I am not sure about the artist yet, I will probably use what I was told before: Reol,Giga and title without capitals since that's how it is on the official video on nico video

Easy
- 00:31:479 (1,3) - Try to balance these sliders so that the point in the middle of the slider lands on the slider tick. Fairly easy to do; just move ther red tick ontop of the slider point. You may have to disable grid snapping.
Example
- 01:44:864 (4) - Minor: Perhaps move this up slightly (about 452:112) so that 3-4-1 follows a more curved pattern instead of a linear one.
- 03:21:325 (3) - Not sure about this double repeater at this part of the music. Usually these are pretty difficult to read at this SV since you don't get much time to see the reverse arrow. They worked in the other sections of the music where you used these since the build up to the kiai matched it perfectly, but here it seems to be used somewhat randomly. I think using a more standard rhythm woud suit this better (perhaps remove one repeat and use a circle?).

- 01:57:325 (3) - Not sure if it's intentional or not, but I don't think the clap on this slider end sounds suitable.
- 01:57:786 (5) - And I'm also going to assume this is supposed to be a clap instead of a whistle.
- 03:16:479 (2,3,4,5) - This may be a bit awkward to play. You are asking the player to hit all of these in a flow which roughly goes in the same direction, but the change in spacing means the player has to change speeds to hit these accurately (which when going in the same direction is kinda tricky). I'd recommend perhaps changing the jumps so that they are at an acute angle so that the change in speeds are easier to handle (all of your other similar rhythms are like this and they play very nicely).
Example
- 03:42:556 (3) - Not too sure about this. Readability of this slider might be compromised due to how much of the slider is obstructed by 1 and 2, but it might be fine.

Synpoo's Insane
- 00:43:479 (4,5,6) - I feel that this arrangement for this rhythm is a bit confusing to read. When testplaying, I thought 5 was going to be on the red tick, but that might just be me.
- 01:06:094 (6,7,1) - Same thing here. It's guessing it's because your previous rhythms like 00:38:864 (1,2) have the blue tick note overlapped by the slider, and this goes against that.

Pretty clean mapset; not too much to say about this. Good luck :)

From my queue, only modding the Normal as requested but mostly because I hate Reol:

This is literally the first time I've ever seen this before, I didn't even know it was a thing. No clue about the rankability of this, but you should fix it anyway lol (I imagine it has to do with how HP drain is calculated, the end of the spinner won't give back enough HP or something).

00:37:017 (4) - Rotating this by around 8 degrees will be better. 00:34:017 (5,6,1,2,3) - are all sharp flow reversals, but then the 00:36:094 (3,4) - angle is really open and curved, so this section feels disjointed.
01:59:633 (5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I recommend swapping NC at 01:59:633 (5,1) - and 02:03:325 (4,1) - . Your patterning is showing off the symmetry in these lines of the music, your NC's should do that, too. You don't always have to stick to the downbeats if a better option is available.
02:29:633 (1,2,3,4,5) - Rework these rhythms to be similar to 02:34:248 (3) - . Or, just change the 3/4 slider. It's one thing to be mixing up rhythms to keep things interesting, it's another thing to completely switch from following instrumental to following vocals even though the music is behaving the same way.
02:51:787 (1,2) - I'd recommend 4 1/1 circles here, it creates a better distinction from the 02:53:633 (1) - slider, so the switch to kiai is more powerful.

General:
  1. I have a feeling your current metadata is wrong. I searched on the Internet for metadata similar to yours and found none. Possible metadata could be:
    Giga-P feat. Reol – drop pop candy
    GigaP & Reol – Drop Pop Candy
    Unfortunately, metadata isn’t really my strongpoint though, so I suggest you ask someone that’s a pro at this like IamKwaN or Alacat. If you have proof that your current metadata may be correct as well, then just send me the link to it.
  2. I see an OSB file in your song’s folder but there’s no SB. Please remove it.
  3. Change audio lead-in to 2000ms in all the diffs please. Not really such a big issue, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
  4. Just bringing to your attention that the Insane and Hard has the same slider velocity. I suggest you either lessen the SV of the Hard or make the SV of the Insane higher so you’ll have a more balanced-out spread. I think you and Synpoo might have to discuss it if you want to change it.

Easy:
  1. Imo, the difficulty settings of this diff is too high for a beginner diff/the easiest diff in the set. I suggest you change:
    HP: 2
    AR: 3
    OD: 2
  2. 00:20:864 (1,2) –Making a blanket here would work better imo. It’ll look neater.
  3. 00:22:248 (2) –This kind of slider works fine here since you can hear it’s following the vocals, but I don’t think this kind of slider really fits here: 00:25:941 (3) – though. It sounds to me like the repeat is not really landing on a specific beat, which may be a bit too confusing for the easiest diff. Same goes for this slider: 01:01:017 (1) - and 01:32:402 (3) – and 02:09:325 (3) – and 02:55:479 (3) - I suggest you do something like this instead:

  4. 00:29:633 (3) –I think it would be better if you stack the head of this slider on 00:27:787 (1) – The overlapping looks bad. Also, try to avoid the overlap with 00:28:248 (2) – then if you follow my suggestion.
  5. 01:34:248 (1) –Not the best flow to be honest. Maybe try something like this instead:

  9. 02:49:941 (1,2,3,4) –Not really a fan of these placements. It could be improved. Perhaps try placing the circles like this:

Collab Normal:
  1. I’m specifically going to name places where more objects can be added so that the difficulty of the diff can be boosted up a little bit. Just to fix the gap between Normal and Hard a bit more.
  2. 00:05:402 –I don’t think this beat should be ignored. The best suggestion would be to change 00:05:171 (5) – into a short slider. Same goes for here: 00:12:556 (5) – and here 00:16:248 (5) -

  4. 00:18:556 (4,5,6) –I would rather follow the vocals here. It seems a bit weird if you don’t since 00:18:325 – feels so empty. So perhaps try a rhythm like this:

    Take note that a change like this would mean that you would have to almost change the entire rhythm that you have been following, thus a lot of changes would have to be made. Remember that the vocal-following idea is just my own opinion and that it would improve your diff a lot in my own opinion. (I also think that this diff has to be a bit harder to fill the gap between Normal and Hard more.) I’m going to continue my modding further on as if you didn’t use my previous suggestion.
  5. 00:22:017 –I suggest either placing a circle here or changing that circle into a short slider.
  6. 00:24:094 (1,2,3,4,5) –Same thing here about following the vocals instead. I’d so something like this:

  1. 00:01:941 (1,2) –Be careful for big jumps like this in a Hard diff. That jump is quite big and the placement of 00:02:402 (2) – makes it harder. I suggest you shorten the jump, or avoid placing a jump there at all.
  2. 00:05:633 (1) –I think it would be better to place a jump here and not here: 00:06:094 (2) – since the music suggests it.
  3. 00:11:864 (2) –I think a straight slider would look better here.

I noticed that this diff has a lot of jumps and some of them are quite challenging. I think some of them are even bigger than the Insane’s. You should be careful not to go too overboard with jumps in Hard especially when the pauses between objects are very short. Jumps in Hard are definitely needed, but then they should be placed in places where the music really suggests jumps and where they make sense. I did point out a few that I thought were too much, but there are more. It’s also important to make sure that the jumps are consistent where the beats or music are the same.

Synpoo’s Insane:
  1. I’m just going to point out a few things that bothered me:
  2. 00:05:633 (1) –Why not place a jump here? You did it everywhere else.
  3. I guess the first thing is some of the random placement of the circles. I usually try placing them more in a certain pattern so they look organised. I guess an example of a place where your placement can improve is here: 01:14:864 (5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4) - But that’s just my own mapping style. I just thought I’ll put this suggestion out there.
  4. 01:06:441 (7) –It was really hard to see this circle while I played because of where it’s placed. I highly suggest you try to make it more visible.

  7. 02:10:017 (4) –This circle is grazing the HP bar a bit. Lower it a bit.

Overall, the Easy looks fine; just a few little things that can be improved. I feel the Normal’s difficulty has to be raised a bit since the Hard has quite a lot of jumps and a few triples, thus the gap between those two diffs can be filled more. The jumps in Hard may have to be eased down a bit and just a few little things can be fixed in Insane.

Hmm, I suggest asking Alacat as well then, just to be sure, but if Kwan himself suggested the current metadata then it should be fine. He's a pro at it afterall.

  4. Just bringing to your attention that the Insane and Hard has the same slider velocity. I suggest you either lessen the SV of the Hard or make the SV of the Insane higher so you’ll have a more balanced-out spread. I think you and Synpoo might have to discuss it if you want to change it. Well, you got a point here, I may think of remapping this hard :( (sent u a pm) because as far as I'm concerned, the only way to resnap slider is manually one by one..Also I don't think it is too much of a problem because it is a GD. Anyway, if I have to change something, it will be on my diff because I don't want to bother Synpoo, it's my fault

Easy:
  1. Imo, the difficulty settings of this diff is too high for a beginner diff/the easiest diff in the set. I suggest you change:
    HP: 2 2.5, I think 2 is too low
    AR: 3 kept, I think AR 4 is pretty easy to read even for beginners
    OD: 2 kept, because it should be higher than the HP, but I'm not sure here yet, I may change to 2.5 as well
  2. 00:20:864 (1,2) –Making a blanket here would work better imo. It’ll look neater. alright, seens like nobody like this pretty overlap
  3. 00:22:248 (2) –This kind of slider works fine here since you can hear it’s following the vocals, but I don’t think this kind of slider really fits here: 00:25:941 (3) – though. It sounds to me like the repeat is not really landing on a specific beat, which may be a bit too confusing for the easiest diff. Same goes for this slider: 01:01:017 (1) - and 01:32:402 (3) – and 02:09:325 (3) – and 02:55:479 (3) - I suggest you do something like this instead:
    Fixed all locations but in some of them I did a 2/1 with reverse because DS didn't let me make like this
  4. 00:29:633 (3) –I think it would be better if you stack the head of this slider on 00:27:787 (1) – The overlapping looks bad. Also, try to avoid the overlap with 00:28:248 (2) – then if you follow my suggestion. 00:28:248 (2,3) - this overlap is intentional, and as I changed this pattern because of the last suggestion, I'm not able to guess how it was b4..
  5. 01:34:248 (1) –Not the best flow to be honest. Maybe try something like this instead:

  6. 02:05:633 (1) –I don’t suggest you make use of double repeats in an Easy diff. Rather break that slider up into two short sliders instead. Same goes for this one: 02:51:787 (1) – and 03:21:325 (3) - Baraatje told me they were fine because the bpm is low

  7. 02:14:864 (1,2) –I think changing them into straight sliders instead would work better, flow-wise as well. fixed here but I think it was better because the flow to (3) was better
  8. 02:29:633 (1,2,3,4) –This pattern looks so crammed into one little space which is unnecessary. Spread the pattern out more and make use of the entire grid by mapping that pattern upwards and not downwards; to avoid the overlapping. you can't notice any overlap while playing
  9. 02:49:941 (1,2,3,4) –Not really a fan of these placements. It could be improved. Perhaps try placing the circles like this:

    A half-circle shape.
  10. 03:03:787 (4,5,1,3) –I don’t really like this overlapping of objects. Not really such a big deal but imo it can be improved and look better organized. I played this part and this isn't noticeable while playing ;w;
  11. 03:44:864 (1) –This very short slider is probably okay and there’s probably no better way to map that part, but it’s still bothering me though since it’s placed in an Easy diff. I would just place a single note here: 03:44:864 – and avoid 03:45:094 – well, I understand you, and it does bother me, but I think one circle is too simple

Collab Normal:
  1. I’m specifically going to name places where more objects can be added so that the difficulty of the diff can be boosted up a little bit. Just to fix the gap between Normal and Hard a bit more.
  2. 00:05:402 –I don’t think this beat should be ignored. The best suggestion would be to change 00:05:171 (5) – into a short slider. Same goes for here: 00:12:556 (5) – and here 00:16:248 (5) - fixed all links
  3. 00:09:094 –Add a circle here if you followed my above suggestion. I don't see a conection between this suggestion and the above one, also there's nothing here to add a circle .-. oxygen doesn't need that much of emphasis /me runs smdisjidsji
  4. 00:18:556 (4,5,6) –I would rather follow the vocals here. It seems a bit weird if you don’t since 00:18:325 – feels so empty. So perhaps try a rhythm like this:

    Take note that a change like this would mean that you would have to almost change the entire rhythm that you have been following, thus a lot of changes would have to be made. Remember that the vocal-following idea is just my own opinion and that it would improve your diff a lot in my own opinion. (I also think that this diff has to be a bit harder to fill the gap between Normal and Hard more.) I’m going to continue my modding further on as if you didn’t use my previous suggestion. I will check for, but I don't think I will change much since I prefer drums, I just map vocals sometimes to avoid too much repetitive patterns
  5. 00:22:017 –I suggest either placing a circle here or changing that circle into a short slider. alright
  6. 00:24:094 (1,2,3,4,5) –Same thing here about following the vocals instead. I’d so something like this:

  7. 00:53:633 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) –I see you followed the vocals in the kiai time though, so I suggest you thus do the same in the previous part of this diff.
  8. 01:31:248 (2,5) –Please avoid this overlap. It’s unnecessary and looks untidy. I will keep this for now, I like this overlap, but I may change if any other bn complain
  9. 01:33:325 (6,1) –Perhaps try a rhythm like this instead?

Hard:
  1. 00:01:941 (1,2) –Be careful for big jumps like this in a Hard diff. That jump is quite big and the placement of 00:02:402 (2) – makes it harder. I suggest you shorten the jump, or avoid placing a jump there at all. shortened
  2. 00:05:633 (1) –I think it would be better to place a jump here and not here: 00:06:094 (2) – since the music suggests it. 00:06:094 (2) - this is a much stronger noise than 00:05:633 (1) -
  3. 00:11:864 (2) –I think a straight slider would look better here.

  4. 00:44:171 (4,1) –This jump is quite big when you compare it to the previous ones with the same beat. I suggest you shorten the jump. you're right, changed to 1,5x jump instead
  5. 00:45:787 (3) –I would avoid this overlap by doing this:
    If you follow my above suggestion, make sure that your jump between 00:45:787 (3,1) – isn’t too big then. fixed both overlap and jump
  6. 00:45:787 (3,1) –Make sure the jump between those two sliders and these two sliders: 00:47:633 (4,1) – and 00:49:479 (4,1) - are similar. oh did they similar

  10. 02:10:941 (6) –Stack the (6) on 02:10:479 (4) - ? That’ll avoid the overlapping and look better structured. I tried to make the overlap look prettier, but it just doesn't make any sense to stack, this will give too much emphasis to this circle, and it doesn't need that much
  11. 02:13:479 (2,4) –This overlapping looks a bit weird to me. So unnecessary. Why not just stack there or avoid the overlapping completely? because this slider need more emphasis, and having the same ds by stacking isn't the point anyway I did something myself

I noticed that this diff has a lot of jumps and some of them are quite challenging. I think some of them are even bigger than the Insane’s. You should be careful not to go too overboard with jumps in Hard especially when the pauses between objects are very short. Jumps in Hard are definitely needed, but then they should be placed in places where the music really suggests jumps and where they make sense. I did point out a few that I thought were too much, but there are more. It’s also important to make sure that the jumps are consistent where the beats or music are the same. I try :(
