You must have a Cutting Edge "Experiemential Version" and sliderendcircle ist worked 
You can already skin the start and end of the sliders separately
start: sliderstartcircle.png | sliderstartcircleoverlay.png
end: sliderendcircle.png | sliderendcicleoverlay.png
Take note that they're only available at cutting edge right now.

Do you have to remove the sliderendcircle.png in order for it to not have it there anymore?
