Oh yeah, here I am :3
Last note: there is a huge gap in this mapset between the Hard and the Insane. You probably need another diff, a Light Insane, to fill that gap
That's all.
Good luck~
[General]
- Enable or disable Widescreen support on all diffs for consistency
- I'll write it here too, fix the metadata + colors issues with toybot's Easy
- Missing byfar's tag and also, what is it with "appleeaterx"?
[Extra]
- {Flow} 00:29:626 (8,1) - Imo there isn't enough emphasis on 1: there is a really strong beat compared to all the others in this part of the song. What about stacking 8 on top of 6? Or maybe even a triangle between 6, 7 and 8, with 8 placed at the left of 6 and 7's line
- {Pattern} 00:33:289 (1) - Hm... I don't really hear this note in the music :/ I tried rearranging the remaining notes in a comfortable way (using your style) and it ended up like this. See if you like it
- {Aesthetics} 00:42:359 (4,5) - Alright, I really love this part with the low DS but it isn't highlighted at all D: These 2 notes should be marked in some way, since they are a pattern on its own, and also, I find 00:43:754 (1) - kinda random :/ What I thought is, even if the comboing is a bit clustered, to put a NC on 00:42:359 (4) - and to switch the NC between 00:43:405 (6,1) - . My reasons are mostly because 00:40:964 (1,2,3) - and 00:43:405 (6,7,1) - use constant 1/4 pauses, while 00:42:359 (4,5) - uses 1/1 pauses (sorry for the long explanation)
- {Pattern} 00:43:929 (1,2,3,4,5) - All this combo keeps a constant 1/4 pause between each object. All of them besides just the first one, 00:43:929 (1) - , so maybe add a repeat on it to match the rest of the combo?
- {Flow} 00:45:673 (4) - Why is this the only hidden slider in the whole map? .-. It feels a bit strange to play because of the smaller jump compared to 00:44:452 (2,3) - and also, you could use the blanket you created with 00:44:975 (3) -
- {Aesthetics} 00:48:638 (4) - Missing NC here maybe? You did it for 00:38:173 (1) - when the rhythm changed...
- {Flow} 00:54:917 (1) - Why do you break the oval flow created with those 2 symmetrical sliders D: What about a Ctrl + G? Now that I notice, you tend to use that oval flow very often, that's why it feels strange to break it there
- {Pattern} 01:05:469 (8) - Is there really a triplet? You also followed vocals during the whole combo while that "overmapped" triplet should be referring to the bass (seeing your next triplets). In the end, it should be better to remove it. It would give more emphasis to the next triplet due to the difference in density (once again, sorry for the long/strange explanation)
- {Pattern} 01:39:568 (1,2,3) - Another "one-of-a-kind" pattern in the whole map. Should this be the same as 01:42:359 (1,2,3,4) - or 01:36:778 (1,2,3,4) - ? If you wanted to spice things up, you should use patterns like 01:47:940 (1,2) - instead which fit better imo
- {Aesthetics} 01:44:974 (12) - That spacing change... ugh... What about a NC?
- {Pattern} 01:53:434 (12) -
Wait... is this object really necessary? .-.Nvm, it fits in the end
[byfar's Extra]
- {General} 00:13:057 - Hm... what is with this timing section... xD
- {Flow} 01:05:731 (6,7) - After you placed 01:05:033 (4,5) - you created a good flow, but you break it with those 2 stacked circles :/ Can you maybe move 7?
- {Aesthetics} 01:07:824 (1) - What's with this NC here? You didn't use it for 01:06:429 (3) - and 01:07:127 (3) - xD
- {Flow} 01:23:522 (3) - I'd suggest a Ctrl + G on this because 01:23:173 (2,3) - don't have the same kind of sound if you hear. My suggestion is also based on 01:28:405 (1,2,3) - and 01:31:196 (1,2,3) - , where you emphasize what I just mentioned. Basically, you can even move it if you don't like that Ctrl + G
[Box's Insane]
- {General} 00:49:336 - Duplicated timing section
- {Flow} Spacing inconsistency between 01:03:115 (1,2) - and 01:03:812 (3,4) -
- {Hitsound} 01:31:196 (1) - What's with the whistle on the tail? .-.
- {Consistency} 01:29:278 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Why is this different from 01:20:731 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - ? The player will get confused, because he will expect to have that last circle of the first combo on top of the first slider of the second one :/
- {Hitsound} 01:55:964 (3) - That soft finish doesn't really fit imo @.@ What about using the Normal one?
[Sharkie's Hard]
See what you can do on your own about this matter because I would point out a lot of things just for that. Good luck~
- {Hitsound} The first half of your map isn't hitsounded at all. Add at least some whistle here and there. From 01:10:964 - it's fine tho
- {Flow} 00:28:231 (3,4) - Hm... it's a bit forced this movement imo... What about adding a repeat on the slider instead?
- {Pattern} 00:29:103 (5,6) - Since these objects are like a filler here, I'd suggest to either make them both sliders, or use a constant DS before and after 5 because it is a bit misleading
- {Aesthetics} 00:52:126 (1,3) - Overlap :/
- {Aesthetics} 00:53:522 (5,7) - Why one is straight while the other is curved? .-.
- {Aesthetics} 00:57:708 (1,3,5) - Double overlap :/
- {General} I'll stop pointing out other overlaps since this map is full of them, just see if you can fix them or not
- {Consistency} 01:33:464 (8) - is conflicting with 01:11:138 (3) - due to the different amount of repeats. I'd suggest removing a couple of repeats on 01:33:464 (8) - until this matches with 01:11:138 (3) - 's length
See what you can do on your own about this matter because I would point out a lot of things just for that. Good luck~
[guineaQ's Advanced]
- {Pattern} 00:52:126 (1) - Shouldn't this slider be 1/2 shorter? .-. I'd rather click at 00:52:824 - instead...
- {Pattern} Patterns like 00:29:626 (1) - or 00:40:789 (1) - are a bit strange to play, since there is a really strong beat on the end. just an example of what you did right with the same rhythm: 00:33:638 (2) -
- {Pattern} Same goes for 00:53:522 (1,2) - ^
- {Aesthetics} 01:30:150 (5) - That shape <.< You blanketed so well everything until now...
[Priti's Normal]
- Nothing relevant here, good job ~
[toybot's Easy]
- {General} What about those combo colors? .-.
- {General} Actually, tags and preview point also conflict with the rest of the mapset...
