stupid idea - tag coop map

2mods: I'm not sure where to put this, so feel free to move it to some beatmap related forum or to the wasteland if you think it belongs there ;)

Hi, I've just got crazy idea of beatmap which would never get to ranked.
It will be playable in tag coop only.
Making all combos only 1 so players take turn just after one circle and increasing bpm eg. 1000x, so you can put more circles (2-8, depends for how much players it will be designed) at "same time" (the difference would be max about few ms between each circle, so it could be somehow on beat ... but if the player count will be close to 8, it could get off). The result should be that players dont "take turns" like in standard tag coop, but play at the "same time".
But there are few problems. Except that my sense of rhytm totaly sucks, so it would be offbeat in all cases, I'm not sure if the high BPM count won't make problems. Maybe for the game, maybe for slower computers. I've got quadcore with 4Gb of ram, so I should be ok, but what about something with 1.5Ghz (single core), 1Gb ram etc? I've tried in editor that it allows BPM of 10k (and then splitting beats in 1/8) so the gaps could be minimized, but I'm not sure of the requirements and stability.
And of course, this map will never be able to get to ranked. It would be impossible to do single (except nofail, of course), so I'm not sure if it wouldn't be deleted by mods or admins.

So what do you think about it? (both players and mod/admins)

Just saying this should be moved to gameplay and rankings before this gets locked and or wastelanded.

Great idea! I don't think I've seen any ranked OR approved maps with tag/co-op difficulties!

Actually, it can't be ranked, because tag coop doesn't count points and it would be useless in single, am I right?

Being able to play at the same time in tag co-op has been suggested before in feature requests. You example, though, is just ridiculous.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13586 is one of the previous requests for simultaneous notes.

Ah, sorry, I haven't found that.
And I know it's ridiclous, but it's just an idea how to do it with that what we have. I see that the topic you've posted is from year 2009, so most propably it's not going to be implemented in short time.
I just wanted to know if it's worth the attempt, or if there will be more problems than income (system requirements, unstability, getting immediately deleted by mods, ...).
However, thanks for letting me know that it was already requested.

It really wouldn't be much more intensive on your computer than osu! already is. It's just the fact of being able to hit notes simultaneously (in tag mode).

This would be a better example of something cpu-intensive

Edit: I don't think simultaneous hitcircles is a good idea. Interesting, but it could lead to some errors.

Nice, these maps are in some parts using almost the same I thought of, but not that close together.
And the possible errors are main reason why I'm asking here ...
