Oh, and, maybe we could disable getting highlighted by specific people too? yeah that'd be pretty cool

Oh and, this would be a big help for those who /np songs that have guest difficulties while playing.

ex: *Takuma is now playing P!nk - Please Don't Leave Me [Takuma's Hardish]

Support, I get some unwanted highlight with Liz Triangle maps, is annoying ;_;

Maybe also disable highlights from links? BD sometimes gets highlighted randomly with random hashes, and the ( )[highlight abuse] wouldn't work anymore.

I agree, by the way. There's no sense in highlighting a person in a /np.

Updated the title.

I can see the first request being useful, but peppy has already shot down multiple ignore features for chat. So... I really don't see the second request happening.
Galkan
Bump.

+1 from me.

that's not my case, but support :3

What Gens said. Sometimes someone sends a link, like...

asdf.com/5F%AB%20BD%F and I get highlighted.

I used to try "DC" as a highlight, but links were too annoying. Then DiamondCrash came along (and no one ever called me DC anyway), so.. yeah. I don't know how he stands all of the excessive highlights, though. :C

Then there's certain /nps that bug me.

..........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

...But disabling highlights from /np might be useful. I've never experienced it until after changing names; only here any there, and I don't mind too much. But even so, getting highlighted from /np's is almost never intentional, so it would definitely make sense to go with this feature.

That's for osz2, I think.

Whoops, forgot about this. It's been added and will be available next build.
Echo
It sounds to me that the request is only for disabling highlights from a /np, while the changelog entry is for a global disable of all highlights.
mm201
So half-added then? Telling what is/isn't an /np is sort of tricky without like a regexp match or something, and even then it'd be delicate if the /np text is changed. (As could happen with, for instance, localization.)

Disabling highlights from /me's maybe. It should be its own checkbox--kept separate from ignore lists completely.

Huh. I don't understand your reasoning as to why you'd think something exclusively involving the chat engine would have anything to do with osz2.
Galkan
Eh, I must've been not awake enough when I was writing that. Sorry and forget that.
