Finding a beatmap

Hey people!

First of, my request: I need a way to open the 'collection.db' to see what beatmaps are in it.

Explanation for those who care:
When I got my new PC, I also ordered a new HDD, because my old one was broken. I managed to save the collection.db from the old one and used it for osu on my new computer. I share most of my beatmap collection with a good friend, so I just got everything back from him, but there are a few songs missing. Since I don't have them installed, they're not listed under collection, and I can't seem to find them by manually searching (I forgot the names :/).

Any help is appreciated :]
Stefan
I also have this problem with my one where from the nearly 400 only 93 are listed. Tried to re-place the songs folder and the collection.db file but doesn't help. The worst case might be that your collection.db won't work properly now and you unfortunately have to re-add the missing songs/beatmaps.

I managed to find one them (one of my favorites) by just looking through the first 80 pages of most played beatmaps. Well, guess I'll just have to settle with that.

If you have ever played the maps you're looking for. In the beatmaps search on the page. If the songs are ranked. You can search: Ranked(Played), most of the songs you are looking for should be there, it's how I found all my songs when I wiped my hard drive. Hope that helps :)
