question to cursor

hello everyone, so i found this skin today:

the only think i hate about it is the stars that come out of the cursor sometimes, now i was wondering if and how i can turn that off cause it totally confuses me when i play with it and i really like the skin

I'm pretty sure the file your looking for is called "star2.png"
I can see that in the skin you've linked the "star2@2x" is already invisible, however there is no "star2" . So if you dont play with high enough resolution for osu to use HD skin elements (the ones that have @2x at the end) then osu will use the default "star2" which looks like this:


If that's the case you must make a invisible "star2.png" in you skin folder to stop those stars from coming out of your cursor.

It says skinning support which this kinda is :)

(someone please correct me if im wrong)
