The current way of finding out whether you're hitting too early/late is the Error display, which may not be suitable for finding that out. Outliers skew the average, and it causes confusion to what it actually means (personally, I thought it meant the maximum error).

Seeing as Unstable Rate is "essentially the standard deviation of your hit errors", a median would be helpful to find where the standard deviation is based off, as well as having an easy number to see whether you're hitting too early/late.

Unstable Rate is based on the average, not the median.

Knowing the median would be useful to know how true the hits are, without counting outliers. It also would help for adjusting the Offset.

Showing the average of all hits (instead of 2 separate values for late and early hits) would be useful for having a measure of accuracy that is OD-independent (which is better than just Unstable Rate by itself, since UR only gives information about precision).

The RMS of the hit errors is: SquareRoot( (UR/10)^2 + Average_Error^2 )

(The average error can be estimated based on late and early errors, but that requires making assumptions of the distribution of the errors).
