If I want to play through songs that I haven't played in a couple of weeks, I can group by 'recently played' to find the songs I played, say, a month ago, but if I play a song from a month ago, it becomes one that I've played today, updating the list and taking me back to the top of the library. Similarly, sorting by 'date added' and then updating a map set one map at a time can be clunky. It would be nice if the list would only update when a new sorting rule was applied, so that I could go through and play songs from a month ago or update maps without losing my place in the library.
