I appreciate the effort people put into this mapset, and supported this set. Unfortunately from today on, this set is unrankable due to a rule. This is the rule.

I am going to quit ranking maps unless they remove or adjust the rule somehow that these big mapsets are rankable again. Goodbye.

Yeah this map can go on with being ranked along with all other currently submitted maps \:D/

However, if not done within 6 months or so it will shift to the new rules, regardless of submission date.

I find it really unnecessary too, but I am grateful that I get this opportunity to rank this mapset, and possibly more before these new rules kick in. Set has been in pending now for a few days, I just finally copied hitsound to every difficulty that was missing them, so mods, here I come! Expect to see this get ranked within few months!

To elaborate this modding process for the guest difficulty makers(and possibly for outsiders), here's how it's going to work! I am going to ask people to mod this mapset, and when I think we've got enough mods for this mapset to move forward (bubble), I will PM everyone to fix and respond to the mods, and then update. This way I can keep track of the updates much more easily, hope that's understandable. So wait for my PM.

So I did an in-depth mod thesis on every single difficulty in this mapset, trying to point out everything I could, including my personal opinion and feedback, so that we might actually have the chance to rank this in 6 months. :lol:
That was about or maybe even over 24 hours of modding work. This is excluding the 5½ hours of sleep I had in between and the couple hours of other business I did. lol

1) More tags

2) Update the map description a bit(?): Where's ProfessionalBox's Insane? You also forgot to credit Sing for their Extra. Also maybe consider arranging them in better difficulty order (Insanes and Extras).

3) Ran the mapset through AiBAT, has some unsnapped inherited timing sections so I thought I'd point those out at least. Will do it individually for each diff mod since they differ on some maps and not all maps have them.

4) I thought it was pretty weird how many diffs in this mapset stop using those snare hitsounds at 00:52:687 - and continue 00:55:773 - . Usually the circle or whatever object at 00:52:687 - is missing a snare which I find especially odd since it belongs to the same part of the song as the previous section where the snares were used? Idk just my 2 cents, not *such* a big deal

5) Many diffs are also missing kiai time, dunno if that really matters that much but I think it emphasizes most intense sections nicely, so made a note on that for every map that's missing them

6) There are also many maps in this mapset that have inconsistent NCs in the maps themselves. I pointed out a majority of them per map since they make things look, in my opinion, kinda messy, inconsistent and/or random, though I'm not sure if this is a case of unrankability or just the mapper's style?

It's a Beginner diff! Cool sliders and stuff. A bit difficult to mod but here's what I could point out:

I think this Normal needs more work. I think some patterns could look a lot better and the map also suffers from some consistency issues. Your reverse slider sections also look kinda messy. Depending on when exactly you made this map, I'd probably recommend doing some serious remaking. I think Normals should be intuitive for beginners and I don't see any reason to make complex-looking and inconsistent patterns and shapes.

7) 00:50:801 (2,3) - I don't like this flow. I think you should make 00:50:801 (2) - flow more towards it, not beside it. Reposition stuff and/or reshape sliders?

8) 00:51:658 (4,5) - I think these sliders look too quirky compared to 00:50:287 (1,2) - even though it's the exact same sound in the song.

Choose the way you want to map to the music and don't switch it around so radically. It leads to problems like not having mapped 00:56:287 - even though you mapped to it on 00:45:144 -

10) 01:05:373 (3) - What's with the amount of curve points? I think you could make it look a lot better with some more effort imo.

An alright Advanced. I liked the consecutive half beat sliders. I also like the effective use of pauses here. Took another playthrough to get used to some of the intentional overlaps.

6) 01:46:516 (3) - I think the direction this reverses towards looks kinda stupid and it really stood out to me while playing. Consider remaking this pattern.

Great Hard! I like the patterns you use, they're very smooth and clean, great sliders too. Not much to point out here, good job!

2) Drop OD7 to OD6.5 rather. Better for difficult hards, OD7 is usually used for Insanes and Light Insanes.

3) Preferably increase HP drain from 5 to like 5.5 or something. The Advanced diff has HP5 as well and the next diff difficulty-wise has HP7. That's kind of an awkward gap.

4) 01:18:744 (4,5) - Stack these? It's a bit off.

5) 01:26:973 (4,1) - Make these lenient by raising the end of (4) a bit?

6) 01:32:801 (1) - This slider could look a bit better imo and the blanket in the end with 01:33:316 (2) - is a bit off.

[Aka's Insane]

Cool Insane, flow and everything is good, plays well as it should. Though maybe consider renaming it to Aka's Light Insane? 4.1*

1) Unsnapped inherited timing sections at 01:05:376 - snap to 01:05:373 -, 01:08:461 - snap to 01:08:458 -, and 01:56:110 - snap to 01:56:116

2) I'd recommend dropping HP drain from 7 to 6 so it won't leave such a huge gap with the Hard. Also considering this being the easiest Insane, HP6 would be a better choice. Also perhaps consider a bit lower AR like 8.7 or 8.8 maybe for a better contrast with Mikii's Insane. Right now they're identical except Mikii's Insane is like 4,51* lol

3) 00:38:458 (2,3) - I think you should stack these. They stood out quite a lot to me while playing. If this is intentional, at least move the (2) to the *left* side of the (3).

4) 01:28:430 (5) - This should be on the half beat at 01:28:516 - where the sound in the music is. Also consider adding a new combo on 01:28:001 (3) - to emphasize the beat change and make reading it a bit easier.

[Mikii's Insane]

An alright Insane, though I disagree with your use of new combos, way too many and they feel quite random to me. They also made the map a bit confusing.
OK after getting in depth with this map, imo you seriously need to do something about the NCs. Make them less common, more consistent. Preferably go through the whole map and make some changes.

2) Also I'd drop HP drain to 6.5 for better HP spread through the mapset, but looking at the gigantic load of NCs, maybe not. lol

That makes no sense and makes it confusing trying to get the hang of what you're actually trying to emphasize with them. 4) 00:26:287 (1) - Remove NC. I know you're trying to emphasize that sound in the song with these NCs but honestly I don't see the point since it makes the combo so short.

4) 00:39:316 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3) - I think these jumps are a bit too tough, considering they're mostly 90° jumps which are often considered some of the hardest. I think they're also quite a spike compared to the other jumps in this map. Reduce spacing somewhat maybe?

5) 01:50:716 (1) - Consider shortening the spinner since it's imo somewhat tiring to spin that long. Maybe end it at 01:56:116 - Or start it from 01:58:858 - and end at 02:01:430 - or something.

6) 02:11:201 (1) - Looks cool but the fact that it's a half beat slider and not a circle is nearly impossible to see, so I keep goofing up on it and getting a 100, which throws me off.

1) Maybe increase the OD a bit to like 7.5? I know a lot of the other Insanes are also 7.5 but uhh, there aren't really many streams in this or anything and accing felt a bit too easy. DnB usually goes well with higher OD anyway. Your call though.

Well that was a pretty interesting Insane. Cool sliders. Some parts were kinda challenging to read but I think it played well overall. Really interesting quarter beat slider patterns. Very quirky too, but hey, I like that.

1) Not sure about the audio lead-in time. Too short? 744 ms while the minimum apparently is 2000ms according to AiBAT. The sliders in the beginning are pretty nice though so it'd be a shame to lose them.

1) I'd raise the OD to 8. This is the hardest Insane in the mapset, star rating-wise, and the next hardest diff from this uses OD9. DnB usually calls for higher OD imo, and it's not like this uses too many streams or anything, so OD8 would feel right at home.

This is the part where I took a little nap for about 5½ hours just so I could keep up the strength for testplaying and modding!
Anyway, nice Extra. The difficulty in this one is mainly found in the stream jumps whereas the regular jump patterns are toned down a bit, which is an interesting change. Also there's some NC inconsistencies you might wanna take care of. The slow parts of the song are also full of inconsistencies that you should probably do something about.

An alright Extra. This one uses much more quirky patterns than Chewin's Extra but shares similar spaced out streams. Also yay smaller CS for a change again! The usage of quarter beat sliders is quite nice. I also like what you did with the triplets in the streamy kiai part.

[Sing's Extra]

An ok Extra otherwise, but it suffers from some serious random NC overuse and inconsistency, many of which don't emphasize the song in any way, which I, at least personally, disagree with. This many NCs also rewards the player back with way too much performance. I'm not sure how it's deemed through rankability but subjectively, I'm not fond of it. Also some patterns were somewhat confusing and I'd imagine there's room for a bit of improvement regarding playability.

1) Unsnapped inherited timing section at 01:17:712 - snap to 01:17:716

2) 00:17:373 (1) - Howbout putting those red anchors on those slider ticks so that the slider ball turns right on the beat?

3) 00:25:430 (1) - For consistency, remove the NC here and place it on 00:25:601 (2) - instead and also remove the NC on 00:25:773 (1) - . This way you will properly emphasize the change in the song.

4) 00:32:287 (1) - This shouldn't be an NC. Instead this should: 00:32:458 (2) - since it's on the big white tick and it's where there's a change in the song. Also remove the NC on 00:32:630 (1) - since otherwise the combo is way too short.

5) 00:32:630 (1,2,1,1,2,3) - Should make the NCs as consistent here as here 00:29:716 (1,2,1,2,3,4,5) -

17) 01:39:487 (2) - Same as 12). Also what is up with this completely insane spacing with a 1/8 beat separation? 01:39:487 (2,1) - 6.08x?? Please put the (1) slider next to the reverse.

Nice Extra! Patterns are smooth and clear and things generally play well. Streams and sliders look good. SV is quite fast but it helps to make the map feel more intense. The stream spacing is maybe a bit too high for my taste though, which makes them much aim heavier.

If I had to imagine a leaderboard, this is where 95% of the pros would probably break.

22) 02:07:087 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Extremely misleading, I goof up on these almost every time since I expect them to be triplets or something because you already stop following those beeps at 02:04:344 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - that also uses doubles, and then suddenly continuing them is plain weird.

23) 02:10:343 (2) - Apparently unsnapped according to AiMod.

24) 02:18:058 (1) - Personally I find it quite random how you switch from mapping to the song like 02:12:573 (1,1,1,1) - to suddenly half beats and stuff again. Might be a better idea to start a spinner from 02:18:744 - and end it at around 02:23:544 - or a little before it. It would emphasize the little humming sound in the song that you start hearing when the spinner starts.

25) 02:29:458 (6,1) - I think this transition is too rough to just start a stream with. I'd make it easier, with less spacing probably.

26) 02:30:058 (1,2) - That's just awkward. You should make it a lot more playable by Ctrl+G-ing the second slider.

27) 02:31:430 (1,2) - These are quarter beats you know, not half beats. lol Really awkward to have something that susceptible to breaking right at the end. I'd imagine most people will just spam this and hope they get lucky.

That's one heck of a stamina killer Extra, though I feel like the difficulty is pretty well balanced around the map and it makes up for a good hardest difficulty of the mapset. I personally didn't really like how repetitive and exhausting 01:06:744 - and 01:28:687 - are but that's your choice as a mapper. So yeah nice Extra in any case. Really not much to point out here.

1) 00:43:430 (1) - Maybe move this a bit more to the left so it's perfectly covered by the curve of the stream?

2) 00:53:373 (3) - Move this a bit so that the gap between 00:53:030 (1,3) - is similar to the gap between 00:53:201 (2,4) - ? Doesn't matter much but I think it'd look a bit better.

3) 01:17:716 - Start kiai time here and end at 01:28:687 - Then again start at 01:39:658 - and end at 01:50:630 -

4) 01:17:887 (2) - I'd move this to the left a bit so that the spacing between 01:17:887 (2,3) - would be more merciful. Would play better.
