I'm thinking about getting one for drawing and whatnot, just wanted to know about osu too.

One of osu!'s top players uses one, I'll leave it at that.

It's very fun, but if you're already used to mouse, you will HARDLY use tablet as your first choice for playing osu!.

This doesn't make sense.

I consider myself a skilled player. I normally play mouse, but I borrowed my brother's tablet to try it out. I was pretty good at it, especially since I can hardly hold a tablet pen. Some things were easier, and some things were harder, but in short, skill is determined by the player, not the input device.

I didn't say it was easier or harder. It depends. I just think, if you're addicted to mouse, you will hardly use tablet as your first choice. For me, it IS easier on tablet for making streams, but I prefer mouse.

But I never used it before...

I use tablet and I find that spinners are extremely easy but endurance is an issue for me because the pen will slowly slip out of my hand, especially on maps that have notes that circle around the screen or jump from one side to the other.

I'm bad with the mouse because I have a claw-like grip on my mouse and kind of "scoot" it around rather than move it around when I use it. Therefore, it's hard for me to do streams but I can do jumps.

So it really is a matter of what you're more comfortable with, skill, and how you hold the mouse or tablet pen.

My second paragraph wasn't responding to you.

Each has their own good points and drawbacks.

The tablet allows you to get almost every note accurately, but requires stamina to hold the pen for an extended period of time as well as skill to look below your blocking arm and play with the delay (unless your tablet is really good, that is).

Mouse, no delays, but requires more skill to control the speed as which to move the cursor to the intended point. Not to mention it is REALLY difficult to attempt continuous square loops (maps like Masterpiece ft. Latte or something). True story.

I play with both but Mouse is hands down the easier of the two Imo I play at X1.9 decent speed with very little movement required

It's really what you're more comfortable using.

Try both, see which one you like better.
