I didn't find any information about what differs from Gold SS anf Silver SS aswell as Gold S and Silver S. Looking at the scoreboards doesn't reveal anything either.

Getting an S or SS rank in Hidden mode gives you silver S or SS. Gold is the regular kind.

Yeah, I figured out. But I think it is Platinum and not Silver,
