I've been testing out ring/index finger with caps lock/a for my K1/K2 and surprisingly I can play almost as well as I did when I used a/s for K1/K2 with my index/middle finger and on some maps I can play even better.
First a few questions for you guys:
1) Do you use index/middle fingers for pressing? If not which two fingers do you use?
2) Is one finger longer than the other? If so, then by how much?
3) which K1/K2 do you use? are they right next to each other or are they a bit farther apart?
My keyboard has always felt a little cramped, and on top of that my middle finger is longer than my index finger, so you can imagine how strange and uncomfortable it felt for me to tap on a small little space with my big clumsy fingers that are of different lengths literally getting tangled up in each other.

SPOILER
First off, my middle finger is quite a bit longer than my index, the gap is a little bit longer than the width of one of main fingers. On top of this I used to use a/s but the keys have always felt way too close, and a bit cramped for my fingers. Because of this they'd often get tangled together, and it was really hard to alternate because of the differing finger lengths and limited space that I played in.
So recently I switched from index/middle to index/ring finger and tried playing and surprisingly, I could stream almost as well as I did with my index/middle finger, and I could single tap far better on top of this, there was no discomfort compared to before. The only difference is that my ring finger isn't as trained as my middle so it gets tired a bit faster, and I can't quite stream/tap as well as I could with my main finger combo, but i can get very close to the same performance with no discomfort/tangled, cramped fingers, etc. but that's to be expected. However I totally did not expect to be able to stream with this finger, especially since it took me ages to learn how to do it with my main two fingers.
So what do you guys think of all this? Am I retarded for doing this? Or maybe I'm on to something? The scariest part about all this is wondering what would have happened if I had practiced all 6 months of my osu career this way with my ring/index on caps lock/a. I don't think I would have had nearly as much trouble learning to tap patterns if I had played this way all along... Anyone else have experiences like this? Anyone else dealing with a similar situation?
