Currently if you enter search terms in the song selection screen and only 1 mapset is found, if you play a difficulty of said mapset and return to the song selection screen again, your search terms will be erased.
This is fine if you have the sorting set to something that would keep the mapset grouped without search results, however, if you sort by difficulty, for example, the search terms will still be erased upon returning to the song selection, and you only have one out of the multiple difficulties you wanted to see close by.
Now while this is sort of an edge case, this annoys me sometimes because depending on what I want to do I have to either re-type my entire search, changing my sorting, or both.
Here's a video example of why I want this to behave differently:
Once again, I know this is sort of an edge case and it doesn't take a lot of effort on my part to just re-do the search, but at the same time I don't see why anyone would want their search terms deleted in this scenario.
Anyhow, there's a few possible solutions I want to propose to this:
-Have an option to not automatically delete search terms if only one mapset is found. (Yay, more toggles!)
-Have it not remove search terms without the user deleting them, ever. (Because it only takes a single key press to delete them.)
-Have it not removing search terms automatically if the sorting does not keep the mapset grouped without them. (Such as by difficulty.)
The bottom one would be ideal I guess. Also, please don't shoot stars to this. It'll probably be wasted as this is more of a derpy side-effect, yet not a bug, yet not a true feature request.
