Monitor Offset
I don't know if it's just me and my friends, but he has been whining about 5ms monitors running on a toaster. I tried using my gaming laptop (which is still technically a toaster) and found out there was a huge difference between a 1ms monitor and a 5ms monitor (Native laptop display vs ASUS VG248QE).
This isn't really a big deal since a lot of people can just look up how to tinker with offsets. I don't even know if actually playing with the offsets help these strange delays, but it's an idea im throwing.
Set-Up Help
I think there should be a friendlier UI for newer players. It's definitely way better now since back then u actually had to move the rar contents into the osu songs list and had to refresh it, but it can be touched upon further without hurting Osu support benifits.
Without going off too much
-After finishing the tutorial there will be a pop up in the client
- Shows community featured skins that players can click on to easily download just with the press of a button.
- Shows specific genre songs such as J-pop, K-pop, Spanish, Brazilian, American, English (British), or Anime, Cartoons, TV Size, Marathons
- Explains how to use chat and little commands
Again, I am just throwing this idea. It's very rough and imo crap at the moment, but if the devs are interested in doing something like this, I can't see how it will be a problem to get better ideas. The only problem will be how long it will take to integrate this into osu (since they cant just focus onto this project).
