Ok.. I couldn't find a duplicate, and to be honest, I'm not really sure what I'd be searching for anyways to find one... so yeah. (sorry in advance!)
Most modders & mappers will understand this anyways.
If you click in the lower left part just to link times (no notes) and copy/paste it. It won't have a hyphen added on. The hyphen itself generates the link to the specified time, and not including it will result with no link.
Example:
Will result in: "00:09:499"
I would like it to result in: "00:09:499 -" so it will instantly generate the link in IRC and in some parts of the forums.
If you copy a note at the same time, 00:09:499 (3) - . This automatically generates the hyphen, so I don't really see why it shouldn't automatically do it when we want to link certain times in the song.
