So I'm going to stop the mod here. And mostly for the reason that instead of me pointing out every issue and being like "fix all of these", I want to explain the concept of spacing.

Spacing is still a living concept, it hasn't died with 2015 mapping. And even if there are jumps in a map, you're still supposed to keep a base line of what the map's spacing is, so people can read patterns. Right now, it's very random. I'm focusing more on the hitcircles rather than the spacing of the notes to help me read, which is no good. Hitcircles serve as a point of reference, but especially nowadays, you're focusing more on where the notes are rather than reading individual circles to time things. The biggest thing you can do with this map is literally go through the entire map and think "Why is this jump here? Does it fit within the music? Do I really need this? If I do, is it easily readable and distinguishable that this is a jump to someone who is reading this map for the first time."

That's pretty much what the rest of my mod for this diff would have said so . . . yeah

Also, the rest of the diffs should look at this as well. However. . .

Hard:
I'm not going to do a full detailed mod for this because I've explained everything that I would probably say in the above statement. However, here's some additional stuff

1) Circle size shouldn't be smaller than the highest diff. It should get progressively smaller from the lowest to the highest diff.
2) Hitsounds are super duper. I don't consider a map complete unless it has hitsounds, and if this was the first diff I modded, I'd stop the mod and tell you to put hitsounds in before I mod it. But uhhh you got lucky I guess xP.
3) Specifically with this diff, patterns are SUPER important. Maps are NOT art pieces, but they should still at least have a reason for the note placement. Things especially like overlaps are just not good. Make sure your note placement has REASON

Now that it's pointed out, I absolutely agree. I did this crazy spacing because I thought it'd bring up the difficulty because it's so hard with the BPM this song is and I guess I went a biiit overboard and it didn't even help with what I intended it to result in. I will review the entire map and fix the spacing.

I would suggest renaming the Hard diff to Intermediate/Advanced or something like that because 2.23 star rating isnt really a 'Hard' diff
Similarly Shinenite's Insane should be renamed to Shinenite's Hard because this plays and is mapped more like a Hard diff.

[Hard]
I will overlook some things since this is your first map and i dont want to discourage you from mapping but you need to practice more.
Open up your favourite maps in the editor and see what they have done
You have used only straight sliders the whole map , I only saw a single curved slider.
You should use more curved sliders overall which makes the map flow better overall .
Also, try to avoid blue ticks in easy, normal and hard diffs unless you can hear instruments/vocals loud and clear
02:52:454 (2,3,4,5) , 00:44:854 (4,5,6) - this type of use of blue ticks is good
00:20:754 (3) , 00:23:226 (2) , 00:24:153 (3,4) - generally this type of use of blue ticks is awkward to play and doesnt fit the song overall
00:50:415 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - This is good
The thing with new combos(NCs) is that you have to be consistent when applying them , either in intervals from 1 big white tick to the other (which is 4 beats) or 2 big white ticks (which is 8 beats)
I'd suggest watching this guide first and looking through some of your favourite maps in the editor.
Dont worry , starting out mapping is kinda hard but when you get into it , its more rewarding than playing

Well, I don't really think my difficulty can be qualified as a Hard because in my opinion some of the jumps I have are a bit too hard for a Hard, but I do agree it isn't an Insane either, so I decided to rename it to a Hyper instead.

Main Ideas

Easy: Check out this thread Making Delicious Sliders. Simple and symmetrical shapes ftw.
Normal: Make a consistent rhythmic motif that the player will remember.
Advanced: Not hard enough and STRAIGHT LINES.
Over all: Consider changing the slider velocity. Its consistent throughout all your difficulties.

Easy

Easier maps are usually a good opportunity to show off your ability to create pretty sliders ~. Since you can’t get too technical with the overall map, symmetry and patterns are a great way to create more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing play.

Hp drain rate is quite high for an easy (currently 5) try using 2-3

00:34:967 - continue pattern from: 00:31:259 (2). This section can feel very 1-1 and boring since your song is quite relaxed and slow. Repeating 1/2 sliders are a great way to create variation in easier maps. If you continue to use the same 1-1 feel, create a more interesting experience by repeating and reflecting the previous pattern used on either the horizontal or vertical axis ( ctrl + j and ctrl + h respectively)

00:41:146 (2) – Not symmetrical to 00:39:910 (1) – consider copying slider 1 for symmetry and reflecting it. Or at least moving (2) from (x: 140 y: 148) to (x: 163 y: 122)

00:48:561 (4) – 2nd grey point (x: 192 y: 212) consider moving to (x: 195 y: 164) I think this creates a more symmetrical wave. Another way to create a more symmetrical way is here. This will give you overall a lot more control of the slider and have a much greater “wave” feel.

02:15:688 (10) – you had the right idea here extraneous points make symmetry difficult. Make the shape first and get the alignment right then rotate to where you want it to be. For the “U” shape I like to think of a pointy Erlenmeyer Flask. I did this in a hurry so its not super symmetrical. But you can see how having less control points gives you a much easier time when trying to create symmetrical shapes.

This is where you can consider playing around a bit more and deviate away from the melody and interesting rhythmic ideas like small triplets. This overall is too similar to your normal difficulty and it seems like a very large leap from advanced to hyper. Consider increasing the spacing between 1/2 notes.

With hitsounds you can still emphasize the melody and have a more complex pattern than 1/1. In my opinion there is waaaay to much 1/1 going on here. You really need some more rhythmic diversity and more complexity going on at a “hard” level. Im going to do a brief mod here for now and consider returning to this later. Feel free to pm for more details.

[Shinenite's Hyper]

Why is this called hyper? Hyper is a reference to the diff name from BMS etc, so it usually is used in konami, bemani related songs in those games. Unless I'm unaware, this isn't in a game like that hahaha, so I'd advice changing the name to Shinenite's Hard as this is thematically incorrect and looks really weird and out of place.
OD7 is probably too high for this, really slow and low starcount.
00:21:372 (4) - Questionable appearance of this slider, I'd consider improving the looks of it.
00:22:299 (5,6) - Either stack or make a slider imo, looks weird as it is.
00:23:690 (3) - Stop at red tick then make a new note 00:24:462 - here? Very undermapped rn considering it's the highest diff of spread (This is evident in the very high slider to circle ratio).
00:25:389 (1) - Another note 1/4 before this slider on blue tick.
00:27:243 (1) - Make this half the length, add another slider after it which ends at 2 and delete that 2. Now all these sliders represent the start of the guitar note. Mute slider ends up to the 5th slider.
00:33:422 (7,8) - More undermap, add a note between these 2.
00:35:893 (4) - ^ Make this a quarter of its length, add a note 1/4 after it, then another note 1/2 after that note.

These are just examples, the rest of the song follows the same trend of being incredible undermapped. Apply what I've wrote to the rest of the map, follow the drum beat more accurately and map more of it, cos right now you leave a lot of it out, which results in honestly a very boring and easy map, hardly felt like a hard or "hyper" and felt much more like a normal, no offense.

That's all I modded, don't take offense hopefully, I only point out honestly D: I don't try to be mean. GL with map.

I get what you mean but honestly I aimed to map more of the vocals than the music when I could and really, it sounds fine to me. If you have any other examples for the rest of the map that I can improve I'll take those but going through it myself I seriously cannot find anything to change, I don't really know why.

I don't think iit was mean at all, thanks for the mod although besides the examples you gave me I didn't change much because I really can't find any other places where it's undermapped in my opinion, well, basically what I said above.

General
Huge lack of hitsounds. I don't mean that you have to have hitsounds like This map.. Just try to add a few whistles, claps and finish here and there. but make sure they don't sound random at all, they should make a little bit of sense just to spice up your beatmap. Also, make sure they don't overpower the music, they should add a little something sweet to it. (a cool little trick, you can double click on the slider beginning OR end to add a hitsound specifically to that spot instead of having it for the whole slider)

Easy:
You probobly get said that often, but i need to adress this. Make sure to use Distance Snap, or else there's no way this map will get ranked one day (if that's what you were aiming for). Remember that this is an Easy difficulty, so it should be...hmm...easy. Don't make jumps too far, make your slider straight and smooth. Make easy and readable paterns (NO OVERLAPS). Make some nice Blankets (if you don't know what a blanket is, here is an Example.). They don't have to be so close to each other, but you get the idea i hope.
Also another thing to point out, when you open AImod (ctrl-shift-A) and then click the little box, you'll see that there's a lot of distance errors, make sure to fix them all to have a rankable easy diff (it takes a lot of time i know, but it needs to be done).

Maybe make this diff CS2 instead of CS3? (the circle size)

This diff had a better use of the distance snap, but i found that some notes weren't properly snapped, and some notes were just plain too far. And i had a few problems with overlaps, i see that you tried to make this diff so every note is close to each other and it's fine, but make sure it's readable since this is only a normal difficulty.

Maybe make this diff CS3 instead of CS4 ?

Distance snap isn't very important in harder diffs, but you still have to make sure your paterns are readable and jumps aren't too far.

Huge lack of hitsounds. I don't mean that you have to have hitsounds like This map.. Just try to add a few whistles, claps and finish here and there. but make sure they don't sound random at all, they should make a little bit of sense just to spice up your beatmap. You probobly get said that often, but i need to adress this. Make sure to use Distance Snap, or else there's no way this map will get ranked one day (if that's what you were aiming for). Remember that this is an Easy difficulty, so it should be...hmm...easy. Don't make jumps too far, make your slider straight and smooth. Make easy and readable paterns (NO OVERLAPS). Make some nice Blankets (if you don't know what a blanket is, here is an Example.). They don't have to be so close to each other, but you get the idea i hope.
