  • Gameplay
  1. 00:22:749 (1) - You might want to make this to be more slanted so there are more movements, in this case the player just have to stand straight which is not too advisable.
  2. 00:33:695 (4) - ^

    * Nice diff. I hardly can find any problems on this Cup.

[ Salad]

  • Difficulty
  1. Increase CS to 3.4 or 3.5 for a gradual change between Cup, Salad and Platter, as CS 3.2 is just a minor difference with CS 3.
  2. Since the Salad is too short, I think increasing HP to 5 is better than keeping it 4.5. However this is just optional suggestion.

    Gameplay
  3. It is too hard as a Salad. As there are way too many dashes (I FC'ed with ~35-40 dashes without counting the one in spinners). I highly recommend to nerf some of the jumps to make it easier. Note that Salad is just the diff that introduces the dashes, and it is short, so expect that beginner players will play this map, and they will not be able to FC this Salad because of the hard dashes. Some examples are given below for you to remove the dashes.
  4. 00:00:655 (1,1) - Even though the Salad is FC'able by a couple of tries by most of the players, I still think that prolonging the distance between the spinner and the first circle is essential, considering that there are several beginner players playing the diff. They will find the circle too hard to notice or being unable to catch up after spinning.
  5. 00:10:790 (2,1) - It is actually not a big problem but due to the waviness pattern in the spinner, beginner players might not be able to catch up or they dashed to the spinner earlier. Therefore you should move (1,2) together to x:272 to allow the players to prepare for the spinner, or just simply remove 00:10:790 (2) that works well in my opinion.
  6. 00:10:993 (1) - End the spinner earlier to give more preparation time the players to catch up the upcoming notes.
  7. 00:13:020 (1,2) - Remove the dash, it seems unnecessary to add that here.
  8. 00:16:263 (3,4,1) - Remove the dashes, or keep one of them. Beginner players will find this difficult as they dashed to the right but they might not be able to catch up by dashing back to left.
  9. 00:22:344 (4,1) - Too hard here for the beginner players. They might not be able to turn the direction and dash to the right. Simply trim down the distance here or remove the dash.
  10. 00:26:803 (4,5,1) - This is way too hard for the beginner players certainly! They have to dash consecutively so it is not recommendable.
  11. 00:43:020 (3,4,5,6,7) - I don't really like how (3,4,5) places, it will be too hard for the player to dash, and I know you want to add a little dash before the spinner, so maybe you want to take a look at this (add dash at last note instead).

[ Platter]

  • Difficulty
  1. Change CS to 4 if you did changes on the Salad diff.
  2. Change HP to 6 if you did changes on the Salad diff.

    Gameplay
  3. It contains too many HDashes here. Note that Platter is just a introduction for the HDashes, it is highly not recommendable to add HDashes every stanza changes except some notes that you want to emphasize like the one before the climax parts.   15. 00:31:466 (4,1,2) - Seems like this part is too hard.
  16. 00:35:722 (4,5) - Reduce the distance.
  17. 00:36:938 (8,1) - Remove the HDash.
  18. 00:37:547 (2,3) - Either add back the HDash (not recommended) or move (3) to x:376, because it is inconsistent to not having a HDash here, so adding a HDash can keep the consistence ; moving (3) to x:376 can change the mindset of the players to not thinking that they are with same pattern.
  19. 00:38:560 (4,5,6) - Move this whole part if you did changes on the previous mod.

I managed to FC with only 12 dashes, 35-40 is nowhere near needed.

  7. 00:13:020 (1,2) - Remove the dash, it seems unnecessary to add that here. - You didn't need to dash for this, but moved it closer anyway to make it less awkward without dashing.
  8. 00:16:263 (3,4,1) - Remove the dashes, or keep one of them. Beginner players will find this difficult as they dashed to the right but they might not be able to catch up by dashing back to left. - Because 00:17:074 (4) - is 1/1 long, the player has enough time to react to the direction change before it happens.
  9. 00:22:344 (4,1) - Too hard here for the beginner players. They might not be able to turn the direction and dash to the right. Simply trim down the distance here or remove the dash. - Lowered distance slightly, kept dash though.
  10. 00:26:803 (4,5,1) - This is way too hard for the beginner players certainly! They have to dash consecutively so it is not recommendable. - The only dash here is from 5 to 1, there is no consecutive dashing.
  11. 00:43:020 (3,4,5,6,7) - I don't really like how (3,4,5) places, it will be too hard for the player to dash, and I know you want to add a little dash before the spinner, so maybe you want to take a look at this (add dash at last note instead). - I moved 5 a little bit closer as a lot of modders have pointed this out. However I did not add a dash to 7, I think this sound is too weak to add a dash.

[ Platter]

  • Difficulty
  1. Change CS to 4 if you did changes on the Salad diff. - I made salad 3.4, so I'm keeping this as 3.8 for consistent spread.
  2. Change HP to 6 if you did changes on the Salad diff. - I didn't.

Remove some of the HDashes. - My mapping style for platters tends to have more hypers than most, at the expense of making them easy HDashes. Instead of being an introduction for them as in only having a few, I make it an introduction by having quite a lot, but easy ones.

However the HDash is not necessary here so it is recommended to remove. - This isn't inconsistent with the rest of the HDash pattern, as it is a HDash to 1, as it has been for the rest of the song, and not removed because of the chime.
  15. 00:31:466 (4,1,2) - Seems like this part is too hard. - This is fine, the player is given enough time to react.
  16. 00:35:722 (4,5) - Reduce the distance. - Reduced distance would break the flow here in my opinion.
  17. 00:36:938 (8,1) - Remove the HDash. - Nope, it's for the chime.
  18. 00:37:547 (2,3) - Either add back the HDash (not recommended) or move (3) to x:376, because it is inconsistent to not having a HDash here, so adding a HDash can keep the consistence ; moving (3) to x:376 can change the mindset of the players to not thinking that they are with same pattern. - This part is a weaker vocal than the HDashes earlier on, however stronger than the vocal of 2, and so it would make no sense to have the same distance here or a HDash.
  19. 00:38:560 (4,5,6) - Move this whole part if you did changes on the previous mod. - Nope.

  1. 00:34:912 (1) - should has further spacing as the vocal feels louder x:80 would be good for me (if you agree so 00:36:128 (2) - move a little bit to left)
  2. 00:37:344 (3) - should has further spacing too, i'd say x:240 (if you agree so move 00:38:560 (1) - to x:320)


  • Salad
  1. 00:17:885 (1,2) - when you have movement from left to right and you repeat the flow again to (2), it doesnt feel good for lower diff like salad imo, i'd say ctrl+G (2) put at x:224 (if you agree 00:19:506 (3) - x:328 00:19:912 (4) - x:176)
  2. 00:20:722 (2) - just personal taste that i dont really like movement in this slider, i'd say make C-shape movement instead
  3. 00:26:803 (4,5,1) - that anti flow from (5) to (1), it doesnt feel suitable again in lower diff, make (1) has dash or place it at rightward (if you make (1) has dash, dont forget to make 00:28:020 (2) - with low normal spacing)


  • Platter
  1. 00:06:128 (2) - a little bit further imo, i'd move 3 grid left for this, also would be good having a far object for 00:06:533 - because the vocal?

  3. 00:13:425 (2) - nazi but i feel 1 grid left would make spacing more consistent?

Random check on the new Rain diff, no kudosu please since I modded the other diffs recently, but first:

General Comments:
  1. Check AImod for the Cup - I think there's been some unicode read/write error at some point since the unicode artist is listed as "梶浦 由記" instead of "梶浦 由記", and the tags have suffered a similar problem
Rain:

  1. It's already been mentioned, but may as well ask you to disable Widescreen Support as well, since there's no SB (and it should be consistent with the other diffs)
  2. 00:14:439 (4,5,6,7,8) - This pattern is slightly awkward to play, since the spacing you have creates a stop/start flow that makes it easy to miss. I'd move (4,8) to x-440 and (6) to x-72 - this results in a more lenient pattern which is "walkable" with held dash
  3. 00:18:493 (2,3,4,5,6) - The change in jump distance between (4,5) is quite sudden. I'd move (4) to x-400 and (5) to x-296, as this gives you a more gradual buildup in jump size - (2,3) = 1.50x DS, (3,4) is 1.90x DS, (4,5) is 2.30x DS, and (5,6) is ~2.70x DS, giving an increase of +0.40x DS each time

  1. 00:17:885 (1,2) - when you have movement from left to right and you repeat the flow again to (2), it doesnt feel good for lower diff like salad imo, i'd say ctrl+G (2) put at x:224 (if you agree 00:19:506 (3) - x:328 00:19:912 (4) - x:176) - I changed, but instead of doing that, I kept the flow the same but reduced the distance between 1 and 2, so that it was obvious there is no dash, making it easier to not overdash.
  2. 00:20:722 (2) - just personal taste that i dont really like movement in this slider, i'd say make C-shape movement instead - Done.
  3. 00:26:803 (4,5,1) - that anti flow from (5) to (1), it doesnt feel suitable again in lower diff, make (1) has dash or place it at rightward (if you make (1) has dash, dont forget to make 00:28:020 (2) - with low normal spacing) - This was supposed to be a dash orz, fixed.


  • Platter
  1. 00:06:128 (2) - a little bit further imo, i'd move 3 grid left for this, also would be good having a far object for 00:06:533 - because the vocal? - Alright, done both.
  2. 00:10:993 - also this one has pitch vocal so i'd say jump too for this http://puu.sh/ionHs.jpg (if you agree, you better ctrl+g 00:11:398 (4) - for the flow) - Added a jump but in a different way to how you described, because that would get rid of the hyper.
  3. 00:13:425 (2) - nazi but i feel 1 grid left would make spacing more consistent? - Done.
  4. 00:15:452 (1) - make this has a little bit movement would make the flow nicer imo http://puu.sh/ionQI.jpg - Done.
  5. 00:43:020 (4) - for the ending, would be nicer to ctrl+g and move a bit to make it has dash to next object? as piano on stanza feels strong too - Done.

00:19:506 (5) - Consider moving to x:224 making them hypers which in this case are easier to catch here and flow better imo.
00:22:141 (1,2,3) - Consider moving these closer to each other, the jumps are again a sudden transition and are really hard to follow.
00:25:182 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - I know there's the piano in the background but I don't think they need these jumps, either make some of them hypers or move them closer.

Don't forget to change offset before ranking, as current offset is unrankable(in other words, having a spinner before herited point.)
This is actually wrong and though it already applied needs to be changed back. Why you suggest to follow something which is not exist? There is nothing unrankable about having note before the first main beat. If you want an example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anacrusis If you still not believe me or just want to be sure ask Shiro (he is the #2 timer in osu! after all). There are several maps ranked in the near past with notes before the first main beat, these shows its not unrankable (you modded them as well :P).

Anyway, the real offset is 3290

Salad
For consistency with NC, I would suggest that you turn 00:05:317 (4) - into two circles so you can keep it so every NC is on the chime (though I think you have the slider because of the vocals though ;-; )

00:05:317 (4) - if the above suggestion is not taken, I would suggest you move this closer to 3 because the vocals do soften a bit so i feel the distance should also
00:22:749 (1,2) - you can add a bigger jump between the two of these because "He" is really stressed and has the chime on 1 also.
00:27:614 (1,2) - same essense as above
00:30:452 (2) - why not make this slider lay down a tad bit more to help accent the vocal it is covering?

Platter
This is actually really hard for me to mod from how you map it (mainly issue with hypers to me). I would prefer that the hyper fruit itself had the chime to it, not the note you are hyper dashing to because - to me - it would accent the hypers a tad bit more

  1. The dark purple combo colour isn't that good, specially when it's on grapes, as it blends too much with the left side of the BG, which is dark purple. I suggest using a lighter shade of purple, like this
[Magic Girl's Cup]
  1. While everything is catchable without dashing, I think the combination between Circle Size and the spacing used in some parts gives this diff a lot more movement than what the atmosphere of the song suggest, specially for a Cup. Try using CS2.5, for both reducing the spacing a bit and increasing the gap between Cup - Rain (1.3 CS difference between Cup and Rain feels a bit short)
  2. 00:04:506 (2,3,4) - Maybe you can reduce the distance here so the beggining of the song isn't that rough? Try x around 456 for 00:04:912 (3) - and x around 336 for 00:05:317 (4) -
  3. 00:07:344 (3,4,1) - This could also have a little less distance. I tried x:448 for (3), x:304 for (4) and x:144 for (1) and it felt nice.
  4. 00:21:127 (1,2,3,1) - This was the place to use a little more distance, specially on 00:22:344 (3,1) - . It would really make those stronger vocals stand out!
  5. 00:27:209 (3,1) - Same, this could have a bit more distance to emphasize the vocal at (1)
  6. 00:33:695 (4,1,2,3) - If you could just reduce the distance a bit, specially to (1), it'd be great I think!

  1. There are some specific patterns that feel a bit too hard for a Salad, and even more considering the relatively high CS. I suggest you change the CS to 3.
  2. 00:15:857 (1,2,3,4) - I suggest you move this to x:48. This pattern is a bit surprising considering the previous slider goes to the right, so making it a bit easier to reach wouldn't hurt.
  3. 00:26:803 (4,5,1) - Ew, no, this is the main pattern I mentioned previously. Change it for some of easier variation like you used on 00:21:939 (3,4,1) - and on 00:31:668 (3,4,1) - .
  4. 00:33:493 (3) - Moves this a bit to the left to balance the distances (not necessarily equal them). It will look better.
[Platter]
  1. Change CS to 3.6 to balance the spread, if you changed on previous diffs.
  2. 00:06:533 (3) - Move to x:144 to make it slightly easier to catch.
  3. 00:07:344 (5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - Ctrl+H this whole section? This is to add some distance on 00:06:939 (4,5) - and 00:10:993 (3,4) -
  4. 00:21:939 (5,6) - It's not thaaaaaaat close to becoming an hyperdash, but if it's catches you off guard it will be a sure miss. Maybe you can move 00:21:939 (5) - to x:336 to make the jump a bit shorter and because symmetry.
  5. 00:26:803 (5,6) - On this one you could make a double hyperdash by moving (5) to x:144 and (6) to x:352
  6. 00:28:829 (4,5,1) - The distances on here feel a bit forced, maybe reduce them a bit.
  7. 00:31:669 (1,2) - Hyperdashes again :3?
  8. 00:34:912 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - I know what you wanted to do here, but the small distance spacing on 1/1 patterns doesn't play out that good. I suggest you Ctrl+H 00:35:722 (4,5,6,7) - , then move (4) to x:400 and (8) to x:112

  1. 00:03:290 - It feels weird that you end the spinner here, where there's a strong vocal. I suggest you shorten the spinner a bit and add a fruit on this beat to emphasize it.
  2. 00:09:777 (4) - The angle of this slider feels weird when it's played after 00:08:966 (2,3) - . I think you can make it a bit more horizontal (like this) so it's a bit more consistent.
  3. 00:14:439 (4,5,6,7,8) - This feels a bit exaggerated for what the song is calling to, at least for me. I suggest you move 00:14:641 (5,7) - to x:280 and 00:14:844 (6) - to x:120 to reduce the distances a bit while keeping the idea.
