I shall post some Malaysian Food then, and I am hungry
Asam Laksa
A rice noodle in a spicy tuna broth, vegetables and everything else. This is the only dish where it use this kind of noodle. It's a special type of "pasta" made for this dish
Karipap
A confectionary with curry potatoes and some fillings inside. More expensive karipaps will have boiled eggs, chicken chunks, tuna chunks, etc etc. No cheese or cheese-like stuff.
Kuih Talam
Another "traditional cake", taste fluffy and sweet, especially the green part. Generally it's made up of coconut stuff and pandan.
And of course, Malaysian favourite (and possibly Singaporean as well, as far as I know), NASI LEMAK
It's like hamburger in the west countries, a very small, easy-to-carry and convenient snack/meal. It's made up of nice with cononut milk, boiled eggs, and some sambal (a kind of chili paste with small fishes which taste very very good). There're lots of variations of nasi lemak. but the most common and cheapest one is this.
And of course, there are a lot of different Chinese food with a mix of Malaysia flavour in here as well, but maybe some other time later. xD
