I've noticed that there's a lack of heavy metal/death metal, or much from the metal genre at all in terms of beatmaps, has anyone stumbled across any good beatmaps from this genre? Otherwise, if you're into any metal at all (any of the subgenres) feel free to tell me about your favourite bands etc.

Well, if you're into folk metal, there's Eluveitie:

By searching for beatmaps, you can also find Slipknot, System Of A Down and other bands you can think of. Mostly you'll find metal bands that are more famous, not some really underground stuff.
If you want, I can go searching for the harder kind of music. But there are not too many and maybe not as hardcore as you like. Suppose it's rather hard to make maps out of them.

Cripple I'd very much appreciate it if you did look a bit deeper, I've found some things from bands such as Infant Annihilator, but one is a 10* map and the others are totally unplayable because of how badly done the beatmap is, I found that to be the case with Dir En Grey also.
