I was trying to update my map during the problems with BSS today, and went to #modhelp to ask whether I was the only one, or if it's global. My question was met with irritation over the same question being asked over and over. Admittedly, I should've gone to the help forum directly, but I thought of two possible solutions to ease the workload of the people in the chat:
1. Upon an error, offer a link to the help forum, perhaps directly to an FAQ.
2. Implement a topic in the IRC-chat, if not perpetually, then at least for times like this. Like any regular IRC-channel has.
