that is REALLY nicely made, by the way. only problem i have is the alignment of notes at end of some sliders, but i'll make sure thats fixable next version, promise!
I think i broke something last night... neither of these should be possible.eyup wrote:
OK I didn't know whether to post this in bug reports or not, because it isn't really a bug, more a gameplay issue. Noticed it playing this beatmap so I'll post it here.
With short sliders (ones without dots in between the start and end), you can simply click and hold the end point for the duration of the slider and you will get no penalty. This is most obvious at the start of Vertigo with the four short sliders. Maybe the start point needs to be specified as a required "waypoint"?
Hmm just noticed that even for long sliders, you don't lose anything by not clicking the start of the slider - you only lose life through missing the middle waypoints. I think in EBA if you miss the start of a slider, they mark it with an X similar to when you miss a normal click.

Nope. You never see an X on a slider unless you miss the WHOLE thing. (In which case you see X's on both ends, but it only counts as one miss.)eyup wrote:

Wow - I was also under the impression you get a miss cross at the start when you miss it. Might remove/change this tonight.ZZT the Fifth wrote:

yup - i realise this. will definitely look at changing this soon, but it involves a bit of restructuring so didn't attempt it last night.eyup wrote:
Oh yeah peppy I can't snap existing bubbles onto sliders using mouse drag - pretty minor issue though. When making a song from scratch the slider snap works a treat!
I've changed osu! to replicate this behaviour in the latest buildZZT the Fifth wrote:

Sorry that's my fault.MetalMario201 wrote:
