00:00:124 (1,2,3) - this is kinda stressing considering the song just starts, and first beat's volume isn't high enough to be worthy of a click, perhaps remove these three and make a spinner.

00:16:581 (1,2) - increase those sv for maximum mlg mapping xddddddddd

00:20:009 (3) - change dis into one hit circle and 00:20:352 - add 2/1 slider here xdxdxdxd

01:59:438 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - is there any particular reason why sv increases? I don't have anything against it, but music doesn't really seem to be fitting for a sv increase.

Just going to mod insane for now, although the hitsounding suggestions apply to all diffs.

Hitsounding
  1. I strongly recommend you use a custom soft-hitnormal since the default soft-hitnormal is really quiet compared to your other hitsounds. Use this one, it sounds quite nice
  2. I recommend you use this hitsound file for a default soft-whistle hitsound. I'll explain the hitsounding below
  3. 00:33:038 - I suggest you raise the volume here to at least 60% since the soft-hitnormal is barely audible
    nvm this, I gave you a new soft-hitnormal
  4. From 00:33:038 - to 00:36:809 - :
    00:35:095 - 00:35:438 - 00:35:781 - 00:36:295 - 00:36:809 - etc, all the strong piano sounds can be mapped with the default soft-whistle. Since you used a kick sound for soft-hitwhistle, this is why I asked you to download the above hitsound file which I have named drum-hitclap. Slap on additions drum then a clap and it will give you the default soft-hitwhistle sound hooray

    00:34:752 - 00:35:438 - 00:36:124 - etc, for the hihat/snare/whatever sound it is that occurs on every other tick, you can use additions drum whistle
  5. 01:04:581 - Adding a 65% volume point here and then adding drum sampleset on the objects from 01:04:581 - 01:05:009 - sounds pretty nice

Insane

  • One thing I would watch out for is spacing. Sometimes you have really low spacing and at other parts where the music is equally intense, you have higher spacing. Like this 02:03:552 (1,2) -
  1. 00:10:752 (4) - try ctrl+g here to create a jump to emphasize the downbeat + strong vocal at the start of the next slider.
  2. 00:12:295 (3,3) - these can go on for 1/2 longer but then they'd be super long ugly sliders idK
  3. 00:20:009 (3) - consider removing the repeat to place a slider at 00:20:352 - to map the vocal, or at least use a circle instead of a repeat end since there is some emphasis at 00:20:352 -
  4. 00:22:752 (3,4,6,7,8) - pls blanket properly wtf
    Also 02:03:552 (1,2) - and other places
  5. 00:23:095 (4,5) - I suggest reducing the spacing a little here (try around x 240 y 237) to make this more comfortable to play. Right now it feels a bit awkward because the jump causes the player to move fast, then immediately slow down at the slider which has a fairly low SV. It could also be because of the angle of the jump (it goes down tot he left while the next slider is going left, this + the jump and low SV might make it feel weird). Don't forget to adjust spacing for objects after the slider if you move it
  6. 00:26:181 (1) - removing repeat and adding a 1/1 slider at 00:26:524 - sounds nice to match the vocal
  7. 00:32:352 (1) - you can have the downbeat clickable by shortening this slider by 1/4 and adding a circle at 00:33:038 -
  8. 00:34:409 (1,2,3,4,5) - this feels kind of forced, mostly this part 00:34:752 (2,3,4) - (also the same at 01:01:666 (6,1) - I guess). I recommend either remapping this pattern or change the position of the circles/sliders. Here is something feels better to play imo:
  9. 00:39:552 (3) - maybe move this to the left a bit (x 87 y 233) so the spacing at 00:39:038 (2,3) - looks nicer
  10. 00:43:495 (6,7) - imo this jump is too big when you consider the music at this point. Ideally, you want the jump at 00:43:838 (8,1) - to emphasize the strong beat at 00:44:009 - . I recommend you move 00:43:666 (7) - somewhere closer, maybe around x 177 y 308 so you can form part of a hexagon:
  11. If you want a cooler star shape, you can do this: 00:50:524 (7,1) - x 381 y 340, 00:49:838 (2,3) - x 418 y 247, 00:50:352 (6) - x 347 y 182.
  12. 00:51:038 (2,3) -feels a bit out of place, I suggest you use even spacing since I don't think the jump is necessary. You can stack the circles, one way to do this is stacking 00:50:866 (1,3) - and 00:50:181 (5,2) -.
  13. 01:04:581 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this is a bit challenging and is also uncomfortable to play. Having circles 1/2 after a stream is always tricky. There are ways to emphasize it without doing a stream + circle like that. One way to do it is to have two 1/4 sliders after 4 circles:

  15. 01:19:495 (6,1) - stacking them causes the emphasis to be lost imo, see if you can rearrange 01:18:981 (3,4,5,6) - . One way would be to stack 01:18:981 (3,5) - then moving 01:19:495 (6) - to x 324 y 241.
  16. 01:21:038 (1,2) - this might look nicer if you space them out more, perhaps you can stack 01:20:695 (6,2) -
  17. 01:26:695 - I suggest you add a note here because of that sound in the music. If the sound wasn't there then it would've been completely fine to leave it empty. Anyways you can do something cool like this:
    01:26:181 (3) - x 289 y 265, 01:26:695 (4) - x 294 y 285. I also recommend you move 01:27:381 (2,3,4,5,6) - down to the right a little (~x 391 y 240) so the flow at 01:27:209 (1,2) - is smoother when it goes into the curve.
  18. 01:37:495 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - sick. Only thing I would suggest here is moving 01:38:352 (6) - to x 254 y 361 so you get more variety of jumps (01:37:838 (3,4,6) - will also form a triangle ΔΔΔ)
  19. 01:45:209 (5,6) - jump is a bit big imo, plus the angle makes it awkward to play. I suggest you angle it in a way that 01:45:381 (6) - is above 01:45:209 (5) - :
  20. 01:52:066 (7,8) - tone this jump down a little, preferably with around the same spacing as 01:51:895 (6,7) -
  21. 01:53:438 (4,5) - godlike stacking 10/10
  22. 01:57:209 (3,4) - I recommend you lower the spacing a bit, maybe stack 01:57:381 (4) - with the tail of 01:58:066 (1) - . Also feels more comfortable to play imo

  24. 02:05:609 (3,4) - this is pretty hard to read. At other places you mapped this with circles (02:00:124 (5,6) - ), and this is the first part where you have 1/4 slider jumps. Not to mention that's an insane jump. The spacing at 02:05:266 (2,3) - is a bit low so I suggest you increase it. One way would be to bring it to the left side and stack 02:05:952 (5,6) - with the head of 02:05:266 (2) - :
  25. 02:11:095 (1) - like near the beginning, you can shorten this by 1/4 then add a circle on the downbeat before the slider. This makes the downbeat clickable and creates more emphasis. I also recommend you end the last spinner at 02:15:724 - like in the hard GD.

  3. 00:53:266 (3) - This slider ends up getting a lot of overlap. Try rotating your slider pattern here
  4. 01:06:638 (2,3) - Moving them down 1/2 a beat (01:06:809 - ) Makes more sense rhythmically. But it could mess up your pattern a bit. Still though, right now you're omitting the beat at 01:06:981 - when it should really be something clickable. (You also map that beat in the combo right after, so I recommend this change :P)

  6. 01:43:666 (4) - Rotate this like -45 degrees so it flows better into slider 1 too.
  7. 01:53:952 (1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,4,1) - This entire section, you switch your NC pattern to every measure as opposed to Every two... which is quite odd since it's not the Kiai Section anymore. Also, this part is actually more difficult than Kiai because of consecutive circle usage and 1/2 repeats. Your Kiai section heavily used 3/2 repeat sliders which really cut down on note density. It's quite noticeable here.
  8. 02:02:181 (1,2,3,4) - You don't use 4 consecutive circles in Kiai even :P. I honestly wouldn't recommend more than 3 consecutive circles on what is your easiest difficulty. Try making either 1 + 2 or 3 + 4 a 1/1 slider.
Good luck D:. Imo Normal is a bit too easy, you should try to use more 1/2 rhythm in Kiai because right now your Normal functions too much like an Easy with 1/1 rhythm :P. I can already see spread issues with Normal and Mokori's Hard due to Hard's use of 1/2 rhythm and Normal being almost exclusively 1/1. Imo, buff some of the 3/2 repeat sliders on Normal because they're greatly reducing note density in the Kiai sections. Also, introduce some 1/2 rhythm by simply extending some of your 1/1 sliders to 3/2, or making some of your circles with 1/1 gaps in between 1/2 sliders instead.

Good luck D:. Imo Normal is a bit too easy, you should try to use more 1/2 rhythm in Kiai because right now your Normal functions too much like an Easy with 1/1 rhythm :P. I can already see spread issues with Normal and Mokori's Hard due to Hard's use of 1/2 rhythm and Normal being almost exclusively 1/1. Imo, buff some of the 3/2 repeat sliders on Normal because they're greatly reducing note density in the Kiai sections. Also, introduce some 1/2 rhythm by simply extending some of your 1/1 sliders to 3/2, or making some of your circles with 1/1 gaps in between 1/2 sliders instead. dam k changed the rhythm in kiai

Astroscopus species have a single electric organ consisting of modified eye muscles, while Uranoscopus species have theirs derived from sonic muscles.[2] They are some of the few marine bioelectrogenic bony fishes, the other being the striped catfish.[3] These two genera within stargazers are out of eight total independent evolutions of bioelectrogenesis.[2] They are also unique among electric fish in not possessing specialized electroreceptors.[4]

  1. The stargazers are a family, Uranoscopidae, of perciform fish that have eyes on top of their heads (hence the name). The family includes about 51 species (one extinct) in eight genera, all marine and found worldwide in shallow and deep saltwaters.[1]

    In addition to the top-mounted eyes, a stargazer also has a large, upward-facing mouth in a large head. Their usual habit is to bury themselves in sand, and leap upwards to ambush prey (benthic fish and invertebrates) that pass overhead. The species within the genera Astroscopus and Uranoscopus can also cause electric shocks. Astroscopus species have a single electric organ consisting of modified eye muscles, while Uranoscopus species have theirs derived from sonic muscles.[2] They are some of the few marine bioelectrogenic bony fishes, the other being the striped catfish.[3] These two genera within stargazers are out of eight total independent evolutions of bioelectrogenesis.[2] They are also unique among electric fish in not possessing specialized electroreceptors.[4] me irl
