While in edit mode (playing a specific part of a beatmap), my skin doesn't stay on? Anyone can help me figure out why? Asked around, no answers QQ

Options are available for that
In the Editor section of the main menu, you probably have the "Always use default skin" option ticked, resulting in it using the default skin in the editor instead of whatever skin you have set for gameplay.
