Teams for Tournaments?

Haiiiiii.
So I'm always watching videos by Azer and WWW, and sometimes I see them in a 4v4 against each other along with Doomsday, Kaoru etc. I was wondering whether there should be a team thing. Almsot like a clan but not really a clan kinda thing? Is this possible or is it a no-go?
Just Curious.

I heard that teams are in development and might be added soon. They still have to find out how to properly implement it so that it's not a useless addition to osu!

I can't remember where I found out about this, if anyone can add to my explanation, feel free to do so.
