Problem Details:

im getting a 4 month deal for 12 but when im purchasing it, it says its $20 (12 is 25% off)

Xsolla (the payment provider osu! uses for things like gift cards and SMS purchases) adds its own fees, and depending on the payment method you use, they can be quite heavy. This is why osu! recommends using paypal instead, since the fees are much lower.
