at the normal, it was mapped to the vocal so i don't see anything wrong with it, but i did made some changes in the placement in the playfield based on what you've shown so thanks anyway..

imo you should've removed those finishes(and use the soft-finish which i intended for marking certain stanzas. we'll be into some problem about hitsound inconsistency tbh)

I have no real issue with this diff. but you should avoid copy pasting in a 2 minute map . I know the beats repeat in the chorus but you can change up the patterns instead of copy pasting and flipping them.
The hitsounds are good and blankets are pretty much perfect here.

its just a plain intention to make the difficulty more interesting. and its not like I make overlaps at everything, its just some of it o3o its my mapping style anyway

and Guest diff can do what they want in their difficulty, kiai or hitsound. anything except the song data etc. xDD

Ok, off my memory (to busy to redownload) 00:33:447 (1,2) - is spaced right? But 3 is stacked kinda awkwardly even though it's the same vocal line. It should have the same spacing as 1,2.

Umm, Just a little I forgot to wrote
The first and third combo looks similar in-game, even though the first color is darker than the third one
Maybe you can change it to some different color, such like purple and blue on the BG

Some missing hitsounds? I feel like there are a lot of them missing.

00:00:605 (1,4,6) - add Clap+(Default) finish
00:00:760 (2) - Whistle
00:01:076 (4) - Add snare+default finish on slider-head
00:01:550 (6) - ^
00:01:866 (1) - Add finish one head and a clap on the tail
00:02:105 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Add clap
00:02:657 (9,10) - Add drum sampleset claps
00:02:815 (11) - Add whistle or drum sampleset finish on the head
00:03:131 (1) - Add clap on slider tail
00:04:078 (3) - Add clap on head
00:05:183 (3) - Remove whistle
00:05:657 (1) - Add whistle and finish on head, and clap on tail
00:06:605 (3) - Add clap on head and whistle on tail
00:07:552 (2) - Add finish
00:07:946 (5,6,7) - This is overmapped, there are only 1/2 sounds

00:19:868 (5) - feels a little wrong to ignore that bass-guitar, no? I suggest changing this into a circle+slider

Alright if I were to suggest a hitsound for everything I would be done tomorrow, but it's pretty simple. clap when snare, whistle when bass-kick, finish when crash. But please, do this carefully, it's really important
00:24:920 (6,7,8,9) - Try a pattern like this. It will get you a way better flow and now the distance to the downbeat won't be lower. (8 is stacked on the head of slider 6)
00:26:183 (2) - Please don't ignore the vocals, map a circle+slider, it will work out better
00:27:131 (1) - Just a suggestion, you could extend this slider to map the vocals, but it's alright if you want to map the basskick instead
00:28:157 (5) - Overmapped
00:29:341 (5) - Same as 00:26:183 (2) - , you will also be able to map the bass-kick
00:33:447 (1,2,3,4) - Please don't use whistles for this entire part, the basskicks are not in the song
00:38:183 (1,2,3,4) - You could use an extended slider instead, but again, please don't overmap like this

01:22:394 (1,2,3,4) - If you would start with a circle, and then move these objects 1/2 later it would sound waaay better
01:29:973 (4) - Circle+slider for vocals
01:35:815 - Don't ignore this red tick, map the snare
01:41:657 (1,2,3,4) - this is a softer part, so the jumps feel wrong here. Try to make the distances smaller
01:42:289 (5) - circle+1/1 slider because you are now ignoring the vocals

01:47:026 (2,3,4) - This would bring more variety and it would also be mapped better to the vocals http://puu.sh/iKPGs/e195e9ea7a.jpg. But if you prefer your pattern, please remove the extended slider at the end of this measure, it doesn't fit
01:48:605 (7,8) - No need for these 1/6 sliders, I only hear 1/2 drums
01:52:078 (4,5) - Switch the rhythms for the vocals
01:58:710 (1,2) - Because the snares vary at this part, maybe it's better to use a circle pattern where the snare get a larger jump
02:03:131 (1) - Let the spinner end on the blue tick

Alright, seems like I have to go now. There is a lot of polishing needed for this mapset, you can ask baraatje as well if you need help since he knows a lot about mapping (especially your hitsounds).

and speaking of baraatje, i may or may not have forgotten to remind him of the mods..

i'll see what i can do with the hitsounds..

I don't think you understand what I meant. You used a snare for the slider-ticks (which is completely fine) but the hitsound if different from the other snare you used on other spots (so not sliderticks). Using slidertick hitsounds is perfectly fine and I even like it in a map like this

okay now I understand what you meant, its drum sample set's sliderslide and slidertick. I didn't use any custom hitsound for that, its pure from osu's hitsound

@domsaur ;; you don't have to, just use normal sampleset for every white ticks, use the top-left sample set mechanic. there is sample set and addition, just choose the note you want, and just change the sample set to normal. you don't have to change the whole thing, since I realize that will be too annoying to change the whole thing, and there are lots of notes in insane, it might be too loud, so just change every white ticks to normal sampleset
