i'm using a cheap mouse pad for quite long time, so i was wondering if a high quality - expensive one would makes a difference.. in other words does an expensive mouse pad worth it

Yeah a decent mouse pad is definitely worth it. It's a lot more consistent.

Pure black ones are the best. Although it really depends on your mouse and it's sensor. I don't recommend anything with a design
