Hey there bf! I promised a M4M and here it is.

[ General]

  1. Uncheck Widescreen support on all difficulties
  2. Might be personal preference, but I don't recommend using Soft hitsounds as they are less audible. I suggest changing to Normal
  3. Try offset 155, sounds better to me
  4. Background has a somewhat awkward resolution. Try to find one with 1366*768 or 1280*720

[ Kantan]

Not sure if you're aware of it, but for a set to be rankable, the lowest difficulty must be below 2*. This Kantan is 2,05* which makes this mapset unrankable. With that stated...

  1. The main issue in this difficulty lies on the density. This Kantan is waaaaaaaaay to dense to be even considered a Kantan. You have used a main snap of 1/1 (which is highly unadvised in a Kantan), with barely any 2/1 breaks (unrankable), and you even mapped 3/2 offbeats!! (which skyrockets the SR at lower difficulties) I highly suggest you to reconsider your mapping towards lower difficulties, following these guidelines:

    1. Consider using 2/1 as main snap, or even 4/1. This means that the main distance between notes should be of 2 beats. This allows you to put some 1/1 patterns in between, but also need 4/1 breaks to compensate for it (8/1 in case you chose 4/1 as main snap)
    2. Avoid using long patterns in Kantan (even if they are 1/1), as this will make newer players choke
    3. Avoid mapping to offbeats in lower difficulties UNLESS they song REALLY demands it
This said. It will be useless to point out "tiny things" as what I basically suggested is to nerf the hell out of it to the ground. Might come for another check if you do. Also, OD5????? On Kantan????????????????

[ Futsuu]

  1. I'm going to say the same thing I did with Kantan. You look like you used main snap 1/2 in Futsuu lol. Highly unadvised. My suggestion here is: change main snap to 1/1. Keep few 1/2 patterns and provide numerous 2/1 breaks
[ Muzukashii]
  1. We fall in the same trap again. Too high amount of 1/4s and extremely long 1/2 patterns without any break in between. On top of that, you're using patterns like 00:10:753 (58,59,60,61,62) - which are highly unadvised in Muzukashii's. I'm keeping the same suggestion than in previous difficulties.
[ Oni]

I guess I can go picky on this difficulty since it's the highest one. But remember to fix the lower ones.

  1. If you started on downbeat, then 00:00:341 (2) - should be a k. Same goes for all beats like this (00:01:047 (9) - for example)
  2. 00:13:047 - 00:13:929 - Pitch goes progressively lower. Maybe alternate to something like dkk dkd ddd?
  3. 00:15:341 - 00:15:517 - 00:15:606 - Missed mappable sounds here I think
  4. 00:30:341 (29) - Shouldn't this be a k as well?
  5. 00:33:164 (57) - ^
  6. 00:34:576 (69,81) - ^
  7. 00:48:782 (176) - Remove for the sake of letting players hit the finisher?
  8. 00:49:753 (181,182,183,184,185,186,187,188,189) - Same suggestion than in 00:13:047 -
  9. 00:55:753 (224) - Changing to k would fit the pitch better and give a nice offbeat ending imo
  10. 00:59:988 (258) - The pitch goes rather lower here. Try d?

  4. Background has a somewhat awkward resolution. Try to find one with 1366*768 or 1280*720 I think it's actually an image from an old issue of Nintendo Power, so there's no ordinary 4:3 or 16:9 version. Unfortunately if I use a 16:9 or 4:3 resolution I will have to either downscale awkwardly or leave black bars on the sides.

I looked back at the Oni and made a bunch of other changes as well (mostly cleaning up patterns that were too messy, changing kkkdk to kkddk). Check it out!
