EME Gaming Keyboard/Cash Tournament! [STD] [RANK 1K +] 2015

Hey guys Rlku here from EME Gaming. I am very pleased to announce that we will be hosting our very first osu! Standard Tournament! EME Gaming has recently decided to carry osu!as one of the games we support! We want to raise the bar of the competitive scene, because we believe this game has the potential to be huge. With that being said lets get to the information!
WE WILL BE CHANGING THE TOURNAMENT REQUIREMENTS FROM 10k+ TO 1K+. WE RECEIVED LOTS OF FEEDBACK SAYING THE MAPS ARE TOO HARD. THAT BEING SAID IT WOULDNT REALLY BE FAIR WITH THAT BIG A MARGIN. I APOLOGIZE FOR THOSE ABOVE 1K THAT SIGNED UP. FEAR NOT, MORE TOURNAMENTS WILL BE HOSTED BY US FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS. THANK YOU.


Rules

Head to Head
Max 16 Players
Failure to Check in within the specified time will result in loss of your reservation and that spot will be given to the next available registrant.
To check in add Rlku and message him at the designated time.

Date and Time

Check-In Time: 1pm EST (UTC -5)
Start Time: 1:30pm EST (UTC -5)

Scoring

SPOILER
10 points for 1st place finishes
9 points for 2nd
8 points for 3rd
7 points for 4th
6 points for 5th
5 points for 6th
4 points for 7th
3 points for 8th
0 points for 9th and below, AND for any songs that are failed.

Over the course of the 16 maps, 832 points are up for grabs, top 3 point totals at the end will receive prizes.

First 16 to register are in the main list. Any further registrations will be counted for runner ups.

2nd. 2 Months Osu! supporter
3rd 1 Month Osu! supporter
Alternatively what we can do is sell the keyboard if you don't want it and send you the money.
WE ARE AWARE THAT THE KEYBOARD IS RUBBER DOAMED, WE ALREADY HAD THE KEYBOARD IN OUR POSSESION PRIOR TO MAKING THE TOURNAMRNT. THIS IS WHY WE OFFER TO SELL THE KEYBOARD AND SEND YOU MONEY.

ALL FURTHER UPDATES WILL BE ON THIS POST

ALSO THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE LIVESTREAMED HERE

That is indeed an expensive keyboard.

for that kind of cash, why not make a mech the prize?

Different mods for different songs, were using owc semi finals map pack. And sure I will kick you

Just a simple question. Not wanting to sneeze at a price, but is it a membrane keyboard you are proposing to osu! players? Otherwise I am looking forward to seeing this tournament =)

Unfortunately we already have the keyboard in our possession, It was also purchased weeks beforehand.

Its 1-10k as in ranks 1 to 10k, so you are eligible to play.

I've got a few questions:

- Is recovery allowed, or the moment you fail in the middle of the map it's 0 points?
- The OWC semi final map pack contains 19 maps, and in the scoring section you mentioned 16 maps. So is it 19 or 16, and if 16 - which of them are we going to play?
- Are free mods allowed on DT / HR maps? like DTHD or HRHD

Recovery is allowed.
We will be playing 16 maps. We will randomly select maps for said mod. (Not repeating of course)
Free mods are allowed on DT and HR.

I am so sorry but I'm a idiot and didn't realize I have a thing the day of the competition. It's been planned for months too ;w;. I'm going to have to withdraw my entry Rlku, I apologize sincerely. But I do implore you to host more tournaments in the future, I would love to see osu! grow in esports and will definitely try and participate in future events. Very sorry. :C
