General


  1. Romanisation of れんちょんのドラムンベース is wrong. ちょん is not chan but chon. Thus the name of the song is Ren-chon no Drum and Bass. You can confirm it by watching the anime or it is just enough to say ちゃん = chan, because ゃ (ya) adds "a" at the and, while ょ (yo) adds "o" at the end. Additionally -chan/-tan/-kun and other name additions should be always romanised with all lower letters, thus not -Chon, but -chon.
  2. Add のんのんびより to source as it is an original source. Then move Non Biyori (not Non Non Biyori) to tags as it is only a romanisation. Second Non is useless, as tags are for searching and tags can be used multiple times in search without being twice in tags, so it would be just useless.
  3. Decrease volume of all timing and inherited points by 10%. Currently, because of choice of the hitsounds, it really messes up the song. Sometimes you can barely hear the song, because the snares and normal hitsounds are too loud. -10% just sounds perfectly balanced. Applies to all difficulties.
  4. Remove Japanese from tags, because the beatmap language will be set later by BN/QAT.
  5. Usage of HP Drain is quite unbalanced. I recommend to use 4 on Normal, 6 on Hard (it really is impossible to fail at all, it doesn't drain anything on mistake because of the high count of objects) and 7,5-8 on insane. That makes it much more balanced.

Easy


  1. 00:30:936 (1,2) - This pattern is really inappropriate for easy difficulty. This just leads to confusion of the newbies. There is too little time, but too many clicks. To keep consistency with music, yet make it easier (also there is no reason for it to be same as Normal, when it is supposed to be easier), try to use this rhythm pattern.
  2. 00:52:879 (1,2) - Same as above, also in this place, it is harder than on Normal, what really doesn't make sense.
  3. 00:20:993 (4) - This is also not really good idea. BPM itself does make the map harder, thus using 1/4 is really a killer. Just replace it with a note on 00:20:993 and it should fit to the song and you will avoid all the trouble.
  4. 00:42:936 (4) - Same as above
Fine difficulty, just the 1/4 gaps would be really annoying for newbies, without them, I have no problem to say it is great.


Insane


  1. 00:30:250 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Just a little idea there. You used higher spacing on streams when there were more snares and so on, but on these deep drums, you mostly used 0.60x spacing. 00:51:507 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Is actually the same stream and you didn't change the spacing, so it would be a bit more sensible if you used the same spacing as before.

Conclusion: Rankable
I pretty much liked the map. There were just minor mistakes, but the map has enough quality to get through the ranking process. Just don't give this up and get few more mods to polish this map. Good job, have my star (when I get kd, I'll give also the second one)

-I'm not sure about the Source. It's a remix of something Renge sings directly from the show, but I don't think it's based off anything from the Non Non Biyori OST. I think Kongou Pak is good evidence to keep the source (voice remix, not OST), but it seems a bit weird
-Add Miyauchi Renge to tags?
-A bit strange how the offset starts where there's no music. It doesn't really matter, just pointing it out
-Oh yeah, fix title's capitalization to "Ren-chon" with a lowercase C (explained in Wafu's mod)

My only complaint was the repeat 1/2 sliders. But apparently you already fixed them.
I see no bad flow or notable overlap issues. Beautiful map, solid diff!

  1. Kinda minor, but you should remove "Anime" from tags, as it's considered as a genre and that will be defined later when map gets qualified/ranked, so players will be able to find map from that. If you don't believe me, you could check most of ranked maps' genres, and you'll see Anime in them (since most ranked maps come from anime :P).
  2. Sweet clap. Nothing more to complain about.

[Easy]

  1. 00:15:850 (1) - Maybe curve the near-end part of this slider for, Idk, a bit better flow? Possible result here (shape is okay IMO)
  2. 00:30:936 (1,2) - Seems new Easies will become Normals eventually, if they continue mapping 1/1 and also add 1/2 sliders like this. *ahem* What I meant was: 1/2 sliders are a little too fast for beginners since they are still learning how to click and hold sliders, and finding a fast slider with a reverse will confuse them on most situations (especially if they haven't even started to play lots of maps yet). So, I suggest to turn those things into 1/1 sliders (or circles, w/e) instead, to make it a bit more beginner-friendly. Same goes to 00:52:879 (1,2) - close to the end.
  3. Nice Easy diff. Simple enough (except for ^) and cool flow-wise.

[Normal]

  1. Spacing of all your 1/2 notes is inconsistent to the rest of the map's Distance Snapping. Mentioning it since you should make it constant (and 1/2 notes are still close to each other to be playable, so there isn't any much issue for that). I'm sure you know it's important to use the DS on easier diffs by now. Saying this I save myself from mentioning every note individually, since they are everywhere.
  2. 00:19:279 (5,1) - I don't know if you're trying to blanket here (and most likely, you're doing it), but try to fix it.
  3. 00:21:336 (1,2) - ^
  4. 00:24:079 (1,2) - Flow here's kinda messed up, since slider goes down and the other one is upside (with an ascending trajectory, messing flow even more). I think something like this flows a little better.
  5. 00:30:936 (3,4) - Using multiple reverses is kinda hard to play, since players might not know when slider will stop reversing (since it's so short ;w;), so you should change this somehow. Same for 00:52:879 (3) -
  6. Nice diff, but multiple reverses aren't really good for Easy and Normal diffs IMO. ;w;

[Hard]

  1. 00:26:822 (1,1,1,1) - Alright... those four sliders are so awfully long, so it's a bit boring to just keep them pressed. You could make them more interesting. I thought of something that maybe you can do instead of those sliders for mere fun; but it's up to you if you decide to apply it or not (and you might be able to do interesting arrangements, so it isn't a loss :D). Well, I came in mind with those things (screenshot 1 and 2 cover the area of first and second slider, respectively; while screenshot 3 covers the area of last two sliders):
  2. Curiously, it doesn't feel right for me to wait for the sliders ^ to finish, but it does feel okay for 00:48:765 (1,1) - Weird. o.o
  3. 00:53:565 (5,1) - I don't really feel confortable playing those things, since song doesn't suggest a stack. A jump would fit better IMO, since last beat is strong.
  4. Nice diff. I liked it, except for the only things I mentioned since they make diff so boring. o.o

Insane is okay in my view, but you should unstack 00:53:565 (3,4,5,6,7,1) - the last circle from the stream, since I think a jump fits more (and some people can't even control their streaming and might end hitting last note earlier hi myself ;w;). But I think the jump fits since it's a strong beat, and it would be fun, since stacking on the end is just too anti-climatic.

Map is okay overall. Just some little issues here and there, but kinda minor.

Saying this I save myself from mentioning every note individually, since they are everywhere. | *sigh* how many times I get this mod? Alright: Since the "streams" at normal are easier to play with a lower spacing this doesn't really matter. I know many ranked maps did the same. As far as I know this is not a unrankable issue. I'll leave it like that until BN's want me to fix it.

  1. 00:26:822 (1,1,1,1) - Alright... those four sliders are so awfully long, so it's a bit boring to just keep them pressed. You could make them more interesting. I thought of something that maybe you can do instead of those sliders for mere fun; but it's up to you if you decide to apply it or not (and you might be able to do interesting arrangements, so it isn't a loss :D). Well, I came in mind with those things (screenshot 1 and 2 cover the area of first and second slider, respectively; while screenshot 3 covers the area of last two sliders):

Insane is okay in my view, but you should unstack 00:53:565 (3,4,5,6,7,1) - the last circle from the stream, since I think a jump fits more (and some people can't even control their streaming and might end hitting last note earlier hi myself ;w;). But I think the jump fits since it's a strong beat, and it would be fun, since stacking on the end is just too anti-climatic. | That's the fun of the last stacking circle. Since it's Insane streams also should be challenging. Still changed the end stream.

Map is okay overall. Just some little issues here and there, but kinda minor.

  1. ich bin nicht sicher ob die kiai wirklich sooo notwendig ist, da es der gleiche beat ist und der vocal nur mit dieser melodie ersetzt wird und ich nicht wirklich denke dass das der Hochpunkt des songs ist .-. Hätte hier ne 1/4 beat kiai eingebaut - von 00:32:307 - 00:32:393 boom (außerdem ist dann nicht mehr die halbe map kiai hehe)
  2. warum so ein starker grün ton als vierte Farbe? Ist zwar nicht sonderlich gravierend, könntest aber ein heller grün ton nehmen, der ein wenig mehr zum boden des bg passt und dann color 2 und 3 tauschen, damit keine verwirrung entsteht ich hab das gras entdeckt, als ich ne farbpalette machen wollte - nice saut
