The background used to dim for a moment after catching a red fruit, which was really "cool" and motivated me to improve my skills to catch more red fruits when I was a newbie. But I found it's now disabled... Feeling somewhat disappointed, I am also wondering why... I don't even know when exactly this effect was disabled, not to mention to find the reason.

You know, I think nobody noticed this since everybody here dims to 100%, and you should too
It's not necessary to have such an effect anyways, if you want to increase your skill level you should set up to the least graphical settings.

I'm not using 100% dim and I hate it as well. o.o Anyway, maybe this can be added back with a line in skin.ini but I'm not sure. Many things changed in CtB and its hard to keep tracking them. q.q

There's no solution yet. I've tried skin.ini but it can't help. To be honest, some "update" and "new features" are really annoying now.Kurokami wrote:

Like this sound control thing. Insta fail if you happen to accidentially touch your mouse wheel.
But i dont want to disable mouse buttons, using M1 to dash is fun. :<

I think red fruit is a reflection of the charms of ctb, and the background sudden dim effect embellishes this reflection. Without it I always feel a little "discordant".119410501 wrote:
