I can't wait to play this game! Battlefield Heroes is a cartoon shooter, with looks similar to Team Fortress 2. You choose an army to stick with the entire game, and then you create your character(s). Like an MMORPG, you customize your characters to look the way you want them to, and then level them up with experience. All the classes have crazy abilities that help you and your team in combat. It's promising to be fun for the casual crowd, with its simple controls and gameplay, as well as the hardcore crowd, with its incredible depth that comes from having hundreds of different abilities to choose from (you can collect tons of abilities, but can only bring about four with you to combat). Best of all, it'll be free to play forever!
The invite-only, 100-player Beta starts May 6th, so hopefully a larger, more open Beta starts soon after that!
