What about changing mods in the pop-up menu before a song? This saves you having to exit the song to change mods, but this idea could open up a few more features. What about a few customizable options to add to the dock? A few things that you could pick to just drop in? This is a good idea for people like me who change options a lot and i think that regardless there should be a few more options on the pop-up menu.

I dunno, tell me what you guys think. :)

If you mean that you can acces the settings menu everywhere in osu!, I would agree with you.(if not sorry .-.) This would be extremly helpfull for mp

Sure, maybe with a hotkey or something like that, possibly a button in the dock that pops up just before a song.

Osu! already has 'HotKays' for mods and the mod window. But I do like your dock idea, or pop-up before starting a map. This could get quite annoying for some users though, so maybe make it an option to disable?
I like it though!

You say this could get annoying for some users.
Both ideas suggested seem to revolve around access to options, Miterosan wants more options and to have them easily accessible, but I am seeking more towards a clickable button next to the ignore skin option before a map. A button for options seems like a good idea here too, but if it's difficult to implement a button to open some of the more popular options (such as bindings and skin) would be a nice touch. Just like how players wouldn't accidently disable a video or a skin, they wouldn't accidentally press a button in the same spot.

So you mean? Like we have now but instead an option on the song item itself in song-select?
Could be nice.
