What to begun... now I'm thinking about "osu!circle", new mode for "osu!". It's a little bit difficult to describe anything without illustration so here we are.
What is it? Err... did you see a large "osu!" button on start screen? When you start any song it began to emanate waves. This mode works the same. Wave is moving from the green border of 1st zone to the last border of 3rd... It cross notes just in the centre and bring them to the 3rd sector. After touching black border wave and note, both will disappear. Look at the illustration below.
Player should move his cursor to the appropriated zone (like 3rd) before (or just in time) red wave touches blue border, then stop there and press, for example, "spacebar". About 300, 200 and 50 points for each click... it depend on distance between wave and blue line.
Yellow thing in the center of note is our cursor. We can move it by tapping left and right "arrows" on keyboard. Yeah, we can move our cursor only side-by-side to last border. Also, for expample, if you tap "right arrow" button too long there will be a miss, because center of your cursor will be in the sector with "3". So, you can recieve miss this way too. Besides, that "left arrow" move our cursor in clockwise order and "right arrow" move it in contraclockwise one.
First addition. Jumps.
It was quite boring just clicking in the rhythm and moving our cursor in a circle to the next note. So, I create jumps. Look at the illustration below. Again.
Innovations. Explaination and key layout
Fistly, it's necessary to say that now player can move his cursor to the opposite sector (1) by tapping "back arrow" in top half of circle and our screen, 180 degrees and "forward arrow" in bottom half of our screen, 180 degrees too. Sectors touches red line must have their border on it. Also, all sectors could be separated into two eaqual parts (two sectors (for beatmappers)).
Sky-blue line is a connection between two notes. It show us, that there're a jump. Firstly, we must tap "back/forward arrow" when first wave touches blue border. When second wave touches blue border, we must tap opposite button (back arrow - forward arrow, forward arrow - back arrow). At all it work like simple note in this mode, I'll explain differences in last paragraph. Also, player can jump whenever he wants just tapping back/forward arrow to jump to the opposite sector. Next illustration.
Reverse jumps.
Finally, if you see an arrow on the note (3) directing you to previous one , then it's a reverse jump. Just tap the button in the direction of reverse jump (arrow (3) will help you).
Visualisation.
1) Cursor's movements.
Cursor moves almost instaneous (jumps must be animated) over sky-blue line. Movement's speed depend on BPM.
P.S. If you want to fix something or ask me a question, then remember that it's nothing but my thought, just yet nothing precise there.
P.P.S. I'll be glad to see you cricitizing me, but please post useful criticisms only.
